Mini Chainsaw Cordless, 6 Inch Handheld Chain Saw Battery Powered

This is a great little household cleanup yard saw!!! I have several big gas saws and always hated getting the mixed gas, bar oil, and cranking the gas saws for small jobs. Then I have to sharpen the chain or chains which are 18-20” and take a while. It’s just too much to clean up a couple of fallen limbs or broken and hanging limbs in the yard. This saw is great. I keep a can of motorcycle chain lube handy and just grab it out of the box and go. It cuts amazingly well and the batteries last a long time. I have even cut a 6” pine down with it. I didn’t really think it would do it but, no problem. Then I cut up the same pine in manageable pieces. I don’t recommend doing that since it’s not made for that but it did it and never even bogged. I am really impressed. I even scoffed at it when I first opened it. Changed my mind!! Love it.

It's a beautiful well-made product but for left-handers like me, it has a problem. It's the safety button on the left side of the tool. It has to be pressed with your thumb simultaneously and held pressed with the trigger to get it to work. Fine for right handers (90% of the population) but I'd have to use it with my left hand for for that the button is on the wrong side. Nor can another model help. It's an industry standard to have the button there. I had to return the product and thank goodness my old no button chainsaw still works. I did order a new chain for it.

This handheld saw works very well and is ideal if you just want to trim a few tree branches. I used it quite a bit, but I don't know how long it will last. I liked it well enough to buy several more as gifts for family. Honestly, I wouldn't want to have to manufacture this, with accessories, for the selling price.

Great for the smallish stuff like cleaning up along the shoreline or general limbs, this is a great tweener tool when a chainsaw or sawzall is just too big, i used it fairly consistently for 3 hours going through both batteries, battery life is sufficient, even if this were to die after 20 hours it would be worth it and i would by it or something similar again, mini-chainsaw tool is a great idea and way safer for one handed use when cutting 4” caliper or smaller

I have to be honest. I laughed the first time I saw this "chainsaw" because it looked more like something you might pull from a toy box and not something you might pull from a tool box. When I started it up, it made a sound like a fake chainsaw toy that one of my kids might play with. But then I started cutting up some branches with it. OMG!!! It can cut. I was just cutting 3" branches, but it did so without any hesitation. It didn't pause or act like it was struggling. It cut through like a hot knife through butter. I was a bit concerned because it requires pressing a "safety" button before it will allow you to press the power button. But the two buttons are placed well and pressing the "safety" button doesn't take much effort and doesn't feel awkward. This tool is very easy to use with just one hand. In fact it feels pretty light in terms of weight. The chain (bar) length seems pretty good. I would like to have the option to cut through thicker branches, but I suppose that's a different tool. Oiling is really my only gripe. There isn't any sort of built in oil reservoir. They give you a little squirt bottle that I assume you're supposed to put bar oil into and then use to periodically oil the chain and bar. That seems like an after thought and one a casual user might overlook. If this tool is actually used to it's full potential, lubricating the chain and bar will be essential to maintain it's function. The chain was tensioned properly when it came. But the tools necessary for adjusting the tension were included in the tool box. I really appreciate that they provided a tool box for this tool. There isn't much room in the tool box for anything I might feel I need in addition to the parts it came with. But at least I can keep the battery, charger, extra chains, and tensioning tools together in a fairly indestructible container. It certainly beats keeping them in the shipping box. Don't be fooled by how cute this is. It's good there is a safety button that might keep my toddler from accidentally starting daddy's cute little chainsaw and cutting off her brother's arms.

I have a 4 inch version of this saw that I bought a little over two years ago. The batteries don't hold a charge very well anymore, and a new saw is cheaper than two replacement batteries. This 6 inch version is very similar. Unfortunately the batteries are not interchangeable between the old and new saw. It is great for trimming branches up to about 5 inches, and slices right through old and new oak, ash, and maple. I also use it to cut up kindling, and for pre-cutting branches before going through the chipper. One -handed operation makes this saw easier and quicker to use than lopper. There is no auto oiler but it comes with an oil bottle to use for oiling the chain and groove before cutting. It's not a hassle to do this, and it keeps the cost down. Also no chance of an oil reservoir leaking all over. It comes with three chains (one installed), two batteries, battery charger, cloth gloves, safety glasses, an oil bottle to use on the chain, and tools to adjust the chain tension and remove the bar and chain. There is a blue saw by the same maker (RLSOO) that is similar but has a different finger guard for the switch. That one looked like it might be too small to use with gloves, so I got the red one that has plenty of room. The red one also looked like it had a better arrangement for the interlock button. It is very easy to reach the button and the trigger without contortions. This saw is meant for right-handed use. It's a little tricky to reach the interlock with the left hand. Important: There is no chain brake, so the chain will spin for about two seconds after you release the trigger. Overall getting two years use out of one of these is well worth the low price. Any brand's batteries will not last much beyond two years of medium to heavy use, so no sense spending a lot of money when this saw works just fine.

If you expect to cut larger trees or thicker limbs regularly, a standard chainsaw would be a better option, but for quick, everyday yard work, this does the job well.

Paid for new looks like second hand , the bubble wraps was not round items just put in the box like it been unwrapped before me and every thing was just put back in box , It does work so I will not send it back so they will not send this one to you . Anyways it has a 24 month free replacement if it quits .

Esta mini motosierra se ve bien construida. Aun no la pruebo pero confio en que hara bien su trabajo ( poda pequeña de arboles frutales y ornato ). Solo tengo dos sugerencias para el fabricante/proveedor: Los compartimientos del maletin no esta bien moldeados conforme al contenido, motosierra con todos sus accesorios. El contenido se ve desordenado, no queda bien asegurado con la tapa del maletin cerrada. Seria un buen detalle que se incluyera un recipiente con 250 ml de aceite para cadena. Tuve que comprar el aceite y no lo venden en presentaciones menores a 1 Lt.
