Parts are available
I purchased a Snapmaker Artisan that would not complete a 3D print. After 4 months complaining with no actual results in view I purchased a printhead assembly as mine has never worked. After installing the new printhead assembly I am amazed at how well it prints. I have started printing all sorts of things I have been waiting to print!

More energy fixing it than using it
All of the filaments are getting stuck in the hot end. I’ve had to completely disassemble Everything to get the filament out. This has happened multiple times. When it does kinda work, the Z axis doesn’t always level itself properly so the print gets ruined. The first time it jammed, I couldn’t even get the hot end out, even with cutting the filament out. I had to disassemble everything, the second day I got it. And that’s only because I was waiting on the printing sheet. I contacted tech support and got a couple of suggestions which I tried, then crickets.

Very happy with this add on
If you already have a snapmaker 3 in 1, I have the A350, this is a great improvement on the original extruder. Setup was a breeze though the calibration did take about 45 minutes. After that I have been printing a lot with no bad prints. Latest was a 24 hour print to see how it would do and it came out great! I was hesitant to spend the money but I am very happy I did. Prints seem to go about 30-40% faster than they did with the single extruder.

This printing module had really poor print quality in the beginning.
This printing module had really poor print quality in the beginning that I believe was a software error. It took a while to get a response and after a software update it is printing better. I am happy with the current results.

Defective out of the box - Company dragging heels on a fix
I installed this in my Snapmaker A350T, and the thing was basically dead on arrival. Due to a host of design flaws, the unit fails to regulate heat properly, and it spontaneously stops extruding. I haven’t been able to successfully complete more than a few layers of a print. After months of customer complaints, Snapmaker acknowledged the design flaws and offered to ship a repair kit with a slew of parts necessary to make their extremely expensive add-on work properly. But because Snapmaker is so apathetic about helping customers, anyone requesting those repair kits at this point (mid-August) won’t receive them until October. Snapmaker’s “customer support” is a brick wall designed to ignore tech support inquiries from existing customers. It took them months to even acknowledge that these modules are fundamentally defective. If you want an overpriced, broken piece of hardware that won’t even be complete for months after you purchase it, be my guest. In my year of owning the Snapmaker, I’ve had easily three times the headaches I experienced with my prior two 3D printers combined. Buyer beware.

works excellent but has a hard time feeding tpu filament

Gleiches Filament, gleiche Einstellungen.
