Thin , crisp, and plenty of fiber, this makes a good substitute for bread. Put your tuna salad, egg salad, cheese, etc. on it for healthy lunch or dinner.

I love rye bread and crackers. Triscuit discontinued their Rye products as did Lance. I was seeking a replacement. If I had never had good rye crackers before, I would never try any again. These were like biting into a piece of cardboard and the flavor was disgusting. I rated everything a 1 because there was not a lower rating. I cannot tell you if they were easy to spread. I did not get that far; however, I do recall they were quite brittle. I suppose the rancid flavor profile could have been because they were not fresh. I do not think so. They were wrapped and sealed very tightly.

I have eaten Finn Crisp for years and have had difficulty finding them lately in my local market. Luckily Amazon has them! The ingredients are whole grain rye flour, water, salt, yeast and caraway (I like the Sourdough Rye Thins With Caraway). They are crisp and go well with cheese (like baked Brie for a special treat), hummus or any topping. Two have 40 calories, and 3 grams of fiber. Try finding any fiber is the typical crackers in the grocery store. If you want to eat crackers at least these are healthy!
