Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition Volant Racing - PS5 / PS4 / PC - Under official Ferrari license

OK. I have been a player of Grand Turismo since number GT1. After all these years I thought I would get a racing wheel and pedals. So I bought this Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition and talk about improvement! WOW. No more silly annoying twitches because of the joy stick on the joy pad. Smoother reaction, better on cornering, braking and the last couple of days, I've been trying out the gear shift panels. It's strange and I keep my ears on the revs and shift that way, as I use that method when driving on the road for real. I tend not to look at the rev counter, as its a distraction that can have disastrous result. A driver, in my opinion should have full awareness of the road in front of them and being alert and aware of everything that goes on around them. Don't get me started with people who use mobile phones while driving! All I can say is, if your starting out for thr first time, this setup is more than ideal. It will give you what you need and at a great price. Don't compromise on quality, buy this and give it a try. I built the rig myself out of reclaimed wood. I still need to build a proper car racing seat base unit to add on to what is already built. Thank you Thrustmaster for showing me the future of racing. 5 Star rating deserved. Honestly probably the coolest thing I have ever bought for 100 pound. I had been looking for a cheap wheel not just for racing games like Asseto Corsa but also car sim games like Euro Truck Sim. I had some friends recommend me Thrustmaster and I had used some of their wheels which are from Thrustmaster and they were great. I had a look and found this one. This wheel is class. I mean it works well and I have had no issues. It comes exactly as it says. The wheel rotates at 270 degrees and has plenty of buttons to assign for whatever game I am playing. The shifters on the back are a great add and are helpful, especially for someone like me who is terrible with a gear stick. The clamp for the wheel is a little tedious but eventually you will get the hang of putting it together. So far I have used this on 2 desks and it hasn't took any paint off like my microphone boom arm clamps. The wheel feels great and like a I'm apart of whatever game I'm playing. Of course it is a little upsetting that it is only 270 degree turning but it still makes playing games for the most part fun. I've had no problems with the accuracy of the wheel on the game I'm playing and thats across 4 games so far. Now the pedals work great but I do have one issue and that is they like to slide on my hard wood floor but there are ways to fix that. The pedals are also accurate on whatever game I'm playing, they feel great and overall are just good. I use this wheel on a PC and so I'm not sure about how it'd work on console. FYI for pc users, remember to download the drivers for this wheel via the Thrustmaster website or the wheel won't work. Seen a couple reviews complaining about their wheel not working at all whom may have forgotten that step. Either way overall this wheel has worked amazing for me over the last year and a half. For the price it might not seem that great but if you compare the price to other wheels, this is an amazing wheel for the price. People might complain about features of this wheel and the only thing I can say is, go get a more expensive wheel. This wheel has everything it says for a great price and I do recommend

I got this steering wheel as it was by far the cheapest I could find anywhere. £60 its still very pricey if you ask me for what it is, but when you consider that the next closest price one is in the £100's, this makes do. I wish it came with a stand as it would then get 5* - I find it annoying that it doesn't as it's almost unusable without the stand (uncomfortable for the wheel on your lap/table, pedals slide around even on carpet, etc). It is lightweight and doesn't feel too durable, but when I have used this I have been very pleased with how it handles (realistic and high quality in the sense of the technology to reflect your steering movements into your racing game). Had no problems syncing this to my playstation and the GT Sport game so 4* from me, the stand would have made it 5*!

Product was delivered earlier than expected. Product was well packed and all accessories intact, setting up was also very easy. In terms of compatibility, the steering wheel and pedals feels very real and responsive. The pedals responds so well to actions. The clamp is sturdy and firm. Generally, product is perfectly compatible with my PS5, strong and feels real. A high value for money as it gives an enjoyable gaming experience!

Utterly useless. Worked perfectly well for 3days. Next morning plugged in ready to go and the steering was stuck turning right. Unable to fix and what a lot of hassle to return. How can it break whilst idle switched off!? Absolutely livid - what cheaply made rubbish charged £75 but my son has the £60 Stand only compatible this one?!

I’ve played racing games all my life but getting a wheel is the best experience of all. This is a perfect starters wheel to learn. Yet it is so balanced that it feels great to hold and control. Works on pc with almost all major driving games - dirt , grid , ETS , FH4/5. Use xoutput in case game doesn’t recognise the input. The wheel is just right for hands, perfect height when clipped on table and very responsive buttons. Awesome product !

I decided to purchase the Thrustmaster T80 Steering Wheel and Pedals to enhance my racing game experience on my PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, my experience with this setup has been less than satisfactory. Motivation for Purchase I was looking for a more immersive racing experience, hoping that the Thrustmaster T80 would provide a realistic feel compared to a standard controller. Installation and Setup The installation process was straightforward, and the wheel and pedals were easy to set up and connect to my PS4. The clamp system for attaching the wheel to my desk was secure and stable, which was a positive aspect. Performance and Issues However, the performance of the T80 left much to be desired: Steering: The steering is atrocious. It feels like trying to drive on ice, with no resistance, making it a struggle to go in a straight line. The lack of force feedback makes it feel like an old ship wheel that you can just spin without any real control. Pedals: The pedals have very little resistance, which makes braking feel awful and unresponsive. This significantly detracts from the overall driving experience. Build Quality On the positive side, the build quality of the T80 is good. It looks and feels nice, with an ergonomic design that is comfortable to hold. However, these aesthetic qualities do not compensate for the poor performance. Overall Experience Overall, I am disappointed with the Thrustmaster T80 Steering Wheel and Pedals. While it looks good and is easy to set up, the lack of resistance in both the wheel and pedals makes for a frustrating and unrealistic driving experience. The absence of force feedback is a significant drawback, making it hard to recommend this product for anyone looking for a truly immersive racing experience. I would not recommend the Thrustmaster T80 to others. If you’re serious about racing games, it might be worth investing in a higher-end model that offers better performance and force feedback.

After a lot of consideration and research, I finally decide to buy T80 Ferrari 488 Edition. Mostly I wanted to buy a steering wheel for Euro Truck Sim 2. So 1st, YES the steering wheel is working on a PC. Only thing you need to do is to download the driver for this wheel and install it to PC. All what it needs. 2nd, trying on ETS 2 with the correct adjustments, is working almost perfectly, but I remind you guys that is not 900 degrees steering wheel. I suppose for other racing games (e.g. F1) possibly will be perfect as well. So to conclude, if you don't have the budget, then this wheel is worth for it's value. Another thing to mention is that I was reading reviews about the wheel that within a year it might stop working. So we will see what happens. But so far all good. This is just my personal opinion guys.

Il volante ha una buona grip ed è fatto di materiali duri, ci sono diversi pulsanti disponibili , una croce direzionale e uno switch che può essere usato per accendere il quadro dell'auto ed avviare il motore. Utilizzato nel mio caso per simulatori di guida per PC: iracing, assetto corsa, assetto corsa competizione, R-Factor 2 e Automobilista 2. In tutti i casi si è comportato molto bene, previa configurazione pulsanti. Il driver da scaricare sul sito è essenziale e permette di controllare il corretto funzionamento di volante , pulsanti e pedaliera. Uno elemento mancante è il Force Feedback, ma visto il prezzo pagato, è normale che non ci sia. Per quanto riguarda tutto il resto il prodotto è davvero buono per iniziare a guidare i simulatori di guida e corsa.

Bon produit, fonctionne avec énormement de jeu. Les commandes sont simple à utiliser, le volant agréable au toucher un produit que je conseil que ce soit pour cadeau ou pour une utilisation personnelle. Le volant est réactif, les pédales sont également de bonne qualité ! Très bon produit dans l'ensemble en terme de rapport qualité/prix.
