Leviton Lever Edge 15 Amp Tamper-Resistant Duplex Wall Outlet, 10-Pack, E5325-MW, White

Good: High quality. Lever wire clamps are ingenious, very easy to use - you can almost wire these things one-handed - holds wires solidly once locked, and releases them easily when needed. The levers are even color-coded to make mis-wiring almost impossible. Tamper-resistant guard admits a plug without grief, unlike a lot of TR outlets I've used. UL listed. Good price in the 10-pack. Bad: A bit thicker than lesser outlets; takes some wire management to fit it into a crowded box. Bottom line: Leviton is my go-to brand for electrical fixtures, and these outlets do not disappoint. I was a bit reluctant to try these; electricians always tell you to use the screw terminals, not the push-ins. These *have no* screw terminals, but the levers provide a positive lock and are ridiculously easy to use. I used these to replace three broken outlets in various corners of my house. The only wiring difficulty I encountered is that I had to snip and re-strip a few wires because the lever locks seem to like absolutely straight, smooth copper, and the bare ends I took off the old outlets were neither. Which is best practice in any case, so that's OK. The remainder will be going into additional outlets in the basement, and I am confident they'll work well. Five stars.

These are really cool. Easy to install and they look great. I didn’t realize that I should pull the ends off before I install them otherwise I have to buy an oversized cover.

These are amazing. Super easy to connect the wires. The downsides: the whole body including the screw holes is plastic, not metal, so it feels a little cheap (but who cares - it IS cheap, and it's covered by the faceplate).

Much easier to install than the typical outlet. You just stick the wire in the side and flip the lever down. I could change an outlet in under 4 minutes. Worth the extra dollar

The installation is very quick and hard to mess up, even for someone who has never installed a wall outlet before, and it gives me peace of mind knowing that there aren't any exposed copper pieces left after installation. Even though I know how to install a traditional wall outlet, I prefer these for the added safety and simplicity.

Sure you’ll have some boomers saying “that’s a weaker connection than my J hook torque to 8.942 inch pounds” they’re wrong. It’s an excellent product and it saves a whole lot of time when installing outlets and switches. You know you have a secure, safe connection and it isn’t prone to errors like leaving a screw too loose or hooking the wire the wrong direction. Additionally the sides are plastic so no risk of shock when grabbing the sides. These lever spring connections are rated beyond what they say they are, and they are safer and are harder to mess up. Absolutely love them, and the time saved. However, I have 1 complaint to dock a star. That is compatibility with outlet covers. Not sure why they have a thick and taller plastic than standard thin metal on most outlets (the bunny ears) I had a whole bunch of screwless 1 gang covers that didn’t fit , and some two gang they didn’t fit. Same for screw type covers I tried. I had to specifically buy mid size outlet covers to fit and, in my opinion, it seems like there’s no logical design reason for that.

Very nice time saving design. (Not tested but the electrical connection contact surface may not be a superior as a screw terminal) At the same time it seems to be a better connection then the type the have a hole for 14ga and an internal spring tension connection. This is So much faster than the screw terminal type the relies on the skill of the installer to wrap a copper wire clockwise tightly around the stud. While screw type if installed properly it may be better at providing solid electrical connections my experience is most are not installed correctly. The design makes proper installation easy with nearly no wiring skills needed. Time is money so these are money savers unless your time is of low value.

pretty affordable alternative to the traditional outlets. Not having to use a screwdriver is awesome and to be able to easily and quickly remove it reuse it is great. I am just a DIY'er so not a professional, but these are all I will be using in the future when not requiring ones with usb ports etc. Highly recommended.

Replace your lose receptacles to reduce the chance of electrical arcs from high current draws

These are an absolute game changer! No more bending loops, tapping the outside, making sure to tighten the loops the right way, etc. It was so easy in fact I was able to do it 1 handed. As an added bonus for an amateur diyer, the plastic at the top and bottom doesn’t permanently bend as easy as the traditional metal ones, So if you over tighten it won’t permanently deform and have to be bent back to sit flush with the plate. The connector between the two hot connectors is accessible in case you want to have one of the plugs on a switch. (In the video the plug used to be half on a switch, but we got rid of the switch). Note for the screwless wall plate, the top and bottom tabs had to be snapped off. For only a couple bucks more than the traditional ones these are definitely worth it! Update: I have since used up the whole box updating outlets in my house and just ordered more! These make it way too easy!

It is handy as heck. But I noticed that if you nick the wire too much, then clamp it, and push it in, the wire may snap off if it bends too much in the box, as the way this holds wires in hides any imperfections.
