super fun!
Many 1-star reviews mention jams or that the blaster “Fires only once.” The problem is usually belt placement. Make sure the ammo belt is pushed all the way to the back of the blaster. There’s a circle of protrusions inside that rotates the belt — if the belt isn’t fully back, these won’t catch, and the blaster won’t feed darts. Once the belt is seated correctly, it fires smoothly with no jams. I had the same issues at first, but after noticing this, my blaster works perfectly. Hope this saves others the frustration!

Awesome gift for any nerf loving kid
Honestly this has been our favorite nerf style gun! Shoots super far! Easily put together! Only complaint is the ease of installing the thing that holds the darts is a tad hard and directions aren’t helpful. My 9 year old can’t reinstall by himself if it falls out! Overall good quality I’ll be curious as to battery life! It takes 6 AA batteries and so far so good!

Regardless of age, make up an excuse to buy this.
Okay. As a full grown adult, combat veteran (with extensive, professional experience with light, and heavy crew served machine guns) who bought this mini gun style, belt fed, nerf gun, as a sort of prop comedy gimmick, for use, while setting up a "vehicle, perimeter control, point" aka, parking lot monitor, as part of supporting a friend, for a church function, this item was purchased with low expectations. That said, this thing is pretty awesome, for anyone, regardless of age. My 21yr old, and 16yr old, sons, and myself had the biggest, childlike grins on our faces, once we got this foam dart, mini gun, set up, to rock and roll. The rate of fire, dart velocity, accuracy, tripod size, weight, and feel of firing foam darts out of this thing, which fires using a butterfly trigger, is 20x more fun than whatever you're picturing. The belt can take some finesse, to feed, but most real heavy machine guns often do, which made it all the more fun. I highly recommend making up an excuse to get this for yourself, or "your kids". The tripod is tall very adjustable, that even a 6'2" adult, can set up a a comfortable firing position, on any even, or uneven terrain. The rate of fire is comparable to a M2 .50cal, which is WAY faster, than I would've guessed, and expends the entire belt of ammo way faster than I would ever expect from a foam dart, battery powered, mini gun. The muzzle velocity, and max effective range, is ideal for indoor, or outdoor play. Wish the belt was longer, but what military machine gunner, hasn't had that thought? Once you get loading the belt down, I've never had any sort jam/malfunction, during use. Rigging some sort of ammo can to the side, to hold your ammo belt, is highly suggested. Like any range, picking up the aftermath, is the only real negative, as reloading the empty belt, takes a hot minute.

Don’t buy
This thing is complete garbage. Don’t recommend wasting your time or money on this temu version of a nerf gun. Requires 6xAA batteries in order to function, which is insane. Immediately after opening and installing the batteries, the motor just made noise and didn’t function the gun at all. Barrel doesn’t turn and the feed lever on the feed tray doesn’t move the belt. I tried the suggested fixes (belt all the way to the back, load correctly with holes pointed up). Doesn’t work. 0/10 don’t recommend for anything other than a paperweight. This is going straight to Amazon returns.

I would 100% definitely buy this again
These ex shot insanity motorized rage, fire air dart guns are so awesome for mid aged boys that are anywhere from eight on up to men age is such a game changer when you want them to go play outside so they can play Indians and Cowboys they would say in the olden days but these days it’s armor versus army. These were well worth the price. I got four of these for Christmas for all my grandsons and boy did they have a ball with these any boy would love these nerves and they come with so many darts and other darts are able to be used in this gun. The capacity holds so much the quality is great. The battery life well you use six batteries per gun so if you’re using it all the time you’ll be using a lot of batteries unless you get rechargeables the look and Power of this is awesome.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!
This. Is. AWSOME! I found a good deal on this, and let me tell you, it amazed me! As part of the discount, it came a couple of weeks after ordering, so I had some time to do a little research on how to operate it. First off, to load it, you flip the switch at the back of the gun(underneath the grips), flip the switch back towards you then insert the belt until it clicks, then, (without letting go of the belt) then flip the switch again, and BOOM! Your ready to fire! Make sure when loading that the little window in the belt is facing up, and that the little lip at the back of the casing is behind the rear most sper that feeds the belt. I know that it sounds a little complicated, but trust me, after you practice loading it a couple times, you can do it in your sleep. And I have not had a jam yet! (I have shot about fifty belts through it). Although I can neither confirm nor deny that it shoots the claimed ninety feet, but it packs a wallop at 20 feet. (Do not worry about hurting smaller kids, the darts are super soft, they just shoot faster than some other blasters). Although most of the accessories are useless, (the dart storage is impractical at best, and the scope is not even close to accurate. and what sane person puts a scope on a tripod mounted machine gun anyway?!?!?!?!?!) but all that is made up for with the tripod. It takes the gun, which by itself is pretty cool, and makes it amazing! With all this being said, this product is not perfect. There are some minor design flaws. For instance, the tripod is difficult to close. Somehow I always mange to pinch my fingers. and the grip/trigger setup is not the best (it can be awkward when firing on the move or at extreme angles), but aside from that, you couldn’t really improve on the design, except adding more power of course ;)

Anyone who has bought a few of these x shot guns for their young person knows the contraptions are fairly hit and miss (excuse the pun) on their actual use. We've had some where the barrel won't click in to place after reloading, others that misfire every other shot. This initially appeared to be another poor purchase- the motor would run but nothing fired! HOWEVER- if you press the trigger in and down, and load the belt with the gap facing upwards it actually works really really well!

You are holding up in one of the trenches, before you the no man's land of the living room. It's completly silent then you hear it! The motor is winding up and suddenly the foam starts flying through the air destroying the kids advancement. The victory is yours and this peice of plastic is to thank. 10/10!

Fun little toy for a 10 year old, was expecting it to break after a few weeks, but he's had it for 8 months now and it's still working. He does not play with it like a normal 10 year old would though. I told him it would probably break after a few days so he's been EXTRA careful with it, which probably isn't that much fun.
