Aerosoles Women's Wip Away Sandal

I knew that Aerosoles tend to run a little larger than my usual size, so usually order 1/2 size smaller and get a perfect fit every time, for sandals or other styles in the Aerosoles brand. I had this exact pair of sandals before, and loved them enough to order replacements for my old ones. Thrilled to see a leather grain texture this time, vs. the older ones, which didn't. They fit like a glove, with give, and my feet are normal width "plus". Very comfortable. I usually wear a size 9 in closed toe shoes, sometimes 8-1/2, but always 8-1/2 in sandals (I don't like excess length for possible tripping potential). A size 8 fits perfectly in this style. Wonderful walking sandals with enough style to dress up when needed.

I've mostly been wearing the same closed-toe fisherman sandals for years, in all different colors--Aerosoles 4 Give and the Cabin Creek version called 4 Get. They are extremely comfortable, but getting harder to find in the colors I want, so I started looking around for another style to try.I was glad to find these in silver at a really good price, and I'm glad I tried them. The silver color is not extremely shiny, I'd really call it more of a pewter color. In some light it looks more like the Bronze Combo color looks online. They are easy to walk in. The first day I wore them was a full day at work, where I'm on my feet a lot. They felt secure on the foot; I didn't feel like I had to worry about walking out of them or tripping. It was nice to be able to slide my feet out of them slightly, under my desk, and slip right back into them quickly when I had to wait on someone. A size note - I normally wear a size 9 in closed shoes like Keds and the 4 Give sandals, but in this open style of sandal I seem to need a half size larger. I've found that to be true in other brands of sandals, and the sizing on this is consistent.On the downside, although I wasn't aware of any discomfort, I did end up getting a blister one one of my pinkie toes, due to where a strap hits on one foot. Hopefully the skin will toughen up over the season, but if not, it's not a big deal to wear a see-through Band Aid on that toe under the sandal for some extra cushioning. It is barely visible.

I ordered size 9, which fits perfectly. However, 8.5 has been "my size" for decades. I noticed that these shoes were made in China so I ordered a half size up. I read a blog recently written by a British lady. She'd been shoe shopping and bought 3 different pairs of shoes in 3 different sizes. (They all fit her). She theorizes that shoes made in Asia are being sized to Asian feet, which tend to be smaller than American and European feet.So I followed her lead when I ordered these sandals, and it worked it my case. And oh yes, the sandals are nice and comfy, too.ARCH SUPPORT:The footbed is thick and soft and spongy. It will cradle your foot and kind of mold itself to your foot. BUT if you need a molded "bump'" to support your instep, there is not one there. I gave them 4 stars because they'd probably be great for 90 pct of women. I have crazy-high insteps and jury-rigged an extra bump for the instep.

I purchased the first pair of wip aways two years ago (for $25... those were the good old days) and have worn them almost exclusively through the summers since then: around town, to church, camping, etc. Although they're still comfortable and provide good support, the cushiony top layer is deeply indented with a dirty print of my foot, and the fabric at the edge of the sandal is starting to rip. After wearing them to a wedding and a 50th anniversary party this year, I started to consider finding something a little less worn/gross-looking to wear with dresses."I feel so old." I told my sister as we were shoe shopping. "I don't care about the new styles; I just want the shoes I already have."Then I remembered that old people have a lot of wisdom, and I went home and looked to see if I could get them online. I'm very excited that I could.A word on the sizing: I am a size 10 or 11 in women's shoes, depending on the brand. Now that I'm wearing a pair with new leather, I remember why I bought the 11s in this shoe the first time: If they were any smaller they would cut off the circulation in my foot. So I'd recommend ordering the larger size if you're not sure how they'll fit.

cute shoes and comfortable but ...sadly they are too loose. I would say they are wonderful shoes for a wider foot. I have an average width and they fling right off. great for people who swell and want a comfy shoe at the end of the day. I wish they could make them without the elastic for normal width !

As always, I love my Aerosoles!! These do not disappoint, they are very comfortable and I got the bronze color and I love the color! They match almost everything. They look good with cropped pants or with shorts or even with jeans. They also have a thick sole that has a lot of padding - super comfortable and can definitely wear all day!! I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly, I would love to get more pairs in different colors.I would absolutely recommend (as with most Aerosole shoes) to my family and friends. Seller was great, no issues. Shoe fit as expected and was comfortable as all Aerosole shoes are. However, I purchased these on 2/23/15 for $42.79 and on 8/10/15 the sole broke right through and ruined my shoes. This is a VERY poor sole design! I only wore them to work and I have an office/desk job. The seller cannot refund as it is out of the term limits. BUT....I believe AEROSOLE should refund this seller AND me for the HORRIBLE sole design that didn't last like their brand has in the past. I also have a brown pair similar in style with the EXACT same sole.....So when will those be TRASHED?!?!?
