Nice, accurate and worth the money

Accurate, precise, and inexpensive scale used in homeschooling science. Easy to carry around and use.

I love everything about this tiny scale and often carry it with me because sometimes I need to weigh small sample parts on-the-fly! I have compared the weights of coins and a few other objects with "known" weights and its very accurate. Its very lightweight, display is easy to read and wipes clean with a soft damp cloth. The tare weight function is kind of handy too. I want to add that someone commented to me that it does not have the ability to count parts. Well, there is an easy solution. Suppose you have a small handful of parts, say paper clips or hair pins for example. Weigh one, make a note of the weight. then put the others on the scale. Suppose the weight of one (piece weight) is .015 grams and the total weight is of the "handful" is1.8 grams. Just divide the 1.8 by .015 and the result will show you have 120 pieces... easy right? Its a nice little scale and I will likely buy another just to keep in my briefcase!

Cheap but works great. Only one decimal point past weight. Tenths not hundreds

I needed a scale that could measure in fractions of grams and ounces. this scale is small, ahs a cover that opens and closes when you are done using it, and is roughly the size of a smart phone (only a bit thicker) so it's portable. The display is sufficiently bright and the numbers are not too small. That being said, one thing to be aware of is that YOU MUST USE AAA BATTERIES THAT ARE 1.5v. My scale came with a set of standard disposable batteries which always work nicely. I prefer to use rechargeable batteries in general. What is not common knowledge is that the majority of rechargeable AAA batteries are 1.2V and will not work properly in this scale and many other devices. If you want to use rechargeable batteries, the fix is to buy specific 1.5v rechargeable batteries. So if you change you batteries and the display no longer lights up, it because your rechargeable batteries need to be 1.5v instead of 1.2v.

Great little scale! Very accurate, has an easy to read display, and I like that the display stays on for some time before turning off. I use it almost daily for projects, and it calibrates correctly every time.

Works really well for weighing of coins. Easy to set up for Lbs or Kgs.
