Best travel pillow
This is a favorite travel purchase I made in 2025. My husband laughed at me, I originally bought it for him but he mocked it so I took it back and kept it for myself. So incredibly comfy, and wicked simple to use once you reacquaint yourself with the strap locations and their uses. I took a screenshot and saved to my phone for future but honestly I think I’ll only need the one refresher. It’s so comfortable, I only put two puffs of air in mine because I want my pillow squishy. Deflating it is easy, and it stows away easily in the bottom of my personal item once I’m done. I already used it to fly this year and will continue to use it. I’ve added an eye mask to the mix and I think that will be the key to perfect sleep for me. My husband is just flat out on his own. The memory foam upper is very comfortable, I have the microfiber cover on mine that’s washable which is great because I drool. The portion meant for your head is plenty thick once you inflated it, and honestly for the price I think this product will last me years and years. All the stitching is great, and with proper care I believe I will remain very satisfied.

Definitely one of the better travel pillows
I’m a terrible, terrible plane sleeper so in prep for an international flight to the south Pacific I purchased 5 travel pillows: the J-Pillow, the Travelrest All-in-One Neck & Body Pillow, the BCOZZY, the SkySiesta SNUG, and the Sunany Inflatable Neck Pillow. The J-Pillow was the worst and I immediately sent it back without use. There was no internal support and it just didn’t support my neck well which is my main issue. The Travelrest All-in-One was probably my favorite – especially if you had something to lean against like a window seat. You can also tilt the armrest partway up and lean against it. It’s a good and innovative pillow. I didn't get very creative with it. Just put it around me like a guitar strap and went to sleep. Beforehand, I had had thoughts of going around the seatback to keep me from moving forward but that didn't work out and didn't seem necessary. Another tip that helps after you have this pillow around you is to cram one or both of your forearms into it in front of you. This seems to tighten up the grip of it on your body and makes the pillow part at your neck much more stable. If I didn't do that, I found it to be a little loose no matter how much I tried to tighten the strap. The compactness of this things for travel is awesome. It's a good pillow. My wife liked the BCOZZY and confiscated it, so I can’t comment personally on it. I can say she liked it and slept well with it (although she’s just an easier plane sleeper than I am, so the comparison isn’t quite fair). I also used the SkySiesta SNUG quite a bit and it helped as well. It has great neck support and keeps your head from tilting. Another benefit is that it covers you ears (which is very important for me) and so keeps out quite a bit of noise. It somehow made my head feel really secure and so I slept pretty well with it. The Sunany Inflatable was OK as well. I’ll say it works better if you are flying coach. If the seatback or tray in front of you is too far away, this pillow doesn’t work as well. So any seat with extra leg room (bulkhead, business, etc) will likely drastically reduce the effectiveness of this one. In coach, you can basically cram it between you and the seat in front and it’ll keep you from flopping forward. My results were that I slept about 3 hours with one configuration (the Travelrest All-in-One) then would wake up, take more sleep medicine, and switch to another (the Sunany Inflatable). All told, after rotating pillows, I ended up getting 6-7 hours total sleep (on an 11 hour flight) which I was delighted with. Keep in mind that I’m a TERRIBLE (beyond terrible) plane sleeper. If you aren’t, you will likely have much better results than I did. So of the 5 I bought, I would purchase again the Travelrest, SkySiesta SNUG, and the Sunany Inflatable.

Comfortable, but a bit more fiddly to set up and can intrude on a neighbour's seat.
I wavered between 3 and 4 stars here. The ability to grasp it with your arm is very useful and unique among travel pullows, especially if you like to sleep hugging a pillow. I was able to sleep decently for about 4 hours on an overnight international flight in Economy class - my first use of it.. However, it is more fiddly than other travel cushions. Fastening it to your seat with the supplied cable/strap is a giant pain in the behind. They really would benefit from an instructional video for how to use the strap, especially as they've changed the strap buckle design. Also, in Economy class where seats are quite close, if you have broadish shoulders (ie men) you'll intrude on your neighbour's space if you try and hang it off the headrest with a strap. That said, it is quite comfortable (esp the velour cover version) when you get it right, esp for an inflatable. Deflating it makes it very easy to transport, more so than the Trtl (which I also have).

Long haul flights
Update: 3/29/25. I never used it on the plane. For what little sitting space you have a on airplane seat it wouldn’t have been worth it. Also the plane that I was on had side head wings to rest my head on. Note: Not all planes offer this. Bought this to take on a long haul flight. I can only give a review of the product because I have not used it yet. If you do not like a pillow around your neck then this provides additional support for the side of your head. If you find that you are a person who’s chin falls forward while sleeping sitting up then this pillow will not help you. The product seems to be good quality and is comfortable enough for me. I tested it out and it only took me 2-3 breaths to blow it up and deflating it took maybe 5 seconds. I did notice that when you blow it up you need to make sure that the top clicks in place so the air does not leak out. Found that out by mistake. Also packing it into a personal bag (backpack) it did not take up to much room which is nice. Also has a strap that holds it folded up. Will I feel embarrassed using this on an airplane nope not at all.

Leaks and does not stay inflated
I have purchased two of these. One has a string. It has a somewhat uncomfortable plastic part where your head would be. The one with the ribbon is more comfortable; however, it leaks and does not stay inflated overnight. It doesn’t seem like you are allowed to contact the seller anymore. I am tempted to buy another but worry that it will also deflate. It would be great to know if my pillow was a fluke or if other customers experience the same thing.

Works well as a travel pillow, good functionality
I've just received the travel pillow and so far it seems fantastic. It's incredibly easy to blow up and deflate (it only takes a couple of breaths). When putting it on your shoulder it sits at exactly the right spot to rest your head on. You can easily adjust how much air to put in the pillow (fully inflated or not by choice). And while it takes a minute to figure out how to remove the cover to wash it... once you read the instructions and try it the first time it's obvious moving forwards afterwards. I'll be using the pillow during some upcoming international travel, I'll update my review if I discover any problems.

From a railroad conductor: BUY IT
To preface, I am either on a train or in a van driving to get on a train for some 80 hours a week or so. I also work 24/7, 365, on-call with no sleep schedule. So napping when I can is absolutely critical and encouraged by my employer to be work ready. That being said, this is the best travel pillow I’ve ever had. I had concerns it would feel like a blow up mattress since it was filled with air, but it’s actually very comfortable. It has a couple of squishy tempurpedic-like inserts on the bigger end for comfort. I can fill/unfill to desired fluffiness. It only takes about 3 blows to be completely filled. It had a flap that keeps this air from escaping until you’re ready to deflate it. The cover is easily removable for washing after every trip, and the part you put your lips on is also removable for washing. The strap could be wider, as I feel it will probably be the first part to wear down, but so far it’s held up well. I use this so many different ways. I actually read the included insert and have tried it all those ways listed. The pics included here are some of my favs. The strap has ended up being my favorite part of this. It keeps my arms comfortably cradled to my body, so I’m not knocking into the guy next to me when I’m sleeping in a van. It also prevents my arms from falling off the side of these short engine armrests. That always wakes me up, and it’s annoying. This simple addition fixes that as well as keeping it in place in certain positions. It also makes a great lap “desk” to prop electronics on. I’ve even used it at my house when I got tired of holding my kindle up while reading for hours. I’ve also been known to throw random junk inside the zipper if my pockets are too full. All in all, this a solid choice for a seasoned traveler or transportation worker. 9/10 would repurchase.

A Little Extra Cost - but a LOT of Extra VALUE - This thing is the BEST
This is THE best travel pillow I've ever used (and I've bought a ton of them). This thing looks kind of goofy - but it is SO comfortable. You can use it while leaning against the window, but even in a middle or aisle seat, this thing makes it comfortable to fall asleep. It is easy to inflate (it takes me about 3 big breaths to have it totally inflated. The valve seems sturdy and is easy to open/close. If the pillow is too firm, it is easy to open the valve and let a tiny bit of air out to soften it. The cover is soft against your face and feels snugly. It deflates and folds up quickly ad compactly. I used this to sleep on flights of over 10 hours and I couldn't believe how comfortable this pillow is. It is WELL worth the little bit extra cost to have and I would 10/10 recommend it.

Perfect for side sleepers
Just back from the return journey to Australia so have tested this pillow to the max. I am not a fan of u-shaped travel pillows a) because they feel restrictive and b) because I'm a side sleeper so keeping me upright is not helpful. This pillow is easy to blow up. I got the velour version as I wanted the extra comfort and it was a joy. I actually slept well on all my (long) flights and, for the first time, did not arrive tired or sore. I also used it on long car journeys. My daughters thought it looked big but I was comfortable and it folded away easily and to a small size so who cares! I forgot it on one journey and was back to the uncomfortable head-bobbing feeling. Highly recommend.n

The best travel pillow ever!
As a touring musician I have to take naps in trains, planes and cars all the time, and I've always found it very difficult to find a good travel pillow. Some years ago I found this one (Travelrest all-in-one Ultimate travel pillow) and it instantly became my favorite, ideal one. I just can't leave without it anymore: its design is very clever, very comfy, very durable, very portable, and it has allowed me to sleep while traveling, but also to relieve my neck and shoulders when I work on the laptop of read a book on a train or plane. I highly recommend it!
