Bought this as the campgrounds were under fire restrictions (no wood fires). Worked excellent for SMores (if you don’t mind not having the smoky taste)🤣

This is just a lovely thing. We bought it to replace an old portable fire pit, possibly one of the first of its kind. This Flame King fire pit is a tremendous upgrade. It is very easy to light and disperses the flame pretty much throughout the bowl, which makes the flames very attractive. It is absolutely smokeless and spark free. It attaches to the propane tank very easily. We are enjoying it immensely.

I am very pleasantly surprised by this gas fire. It appears to be very well made and comes with more fire rocks than you'll probably need. It throws out a lot of heat and, when You're finished, it packs away with it's own lid and carrying handle.

So far so good. Four stars because it appeared to have been opened and returned. I wanted new, but since it had not been used I set it up. The labels that were supposed to be on the rocks were missing or washed out so I had to guess which rocks went first. There was no how to manual, but I found it on the Amazon product page and was able to print it out. It seems to be good quality, but time will tell. I was surprised at how little it weighs. I have to move it frequently because surprise rain showers come through frequently. I had some difficulty putting the strap on because there were no directions as to how it was supposed to be attached and I did not realize the ends are stretchy. The ignition is a bit tricky and has to do with how fast or slow the gas is running. The first time it didn't light and the second time it flared. I am hoping after getting used to igniting I can prevent the flaring. I do love the smell and sound of burning wood, but if I want a fire I will have to get used to just having flame while there is a burn ban. It looks nice anyway. I cleaned my firepit and grate to put the fire bowl up off the ground and it is a close comparison to having wood fire.

She has been with me all over NC, SC, FL, and GA. Ahe is my flame of peace and warmth.... PERIODT..

Love this. Lots of heat. Piezio igniter working great. Saved me when the burn ban was in effect. Moved it to my covered back porch. Great in the evenings.

The flame bowl is easy to set up and lights very easily with the dial. My only gripe is all of the heat goes straight up and you can’t feel any heat even 2 feet from it. I highly recommend some kind of heat deflector as on a cold night. It doesn’t do anything to keep you warm unless you’re standing straight over it.

The box was full of MOLD. Shipper had to know since they opened the box and added scale to box.
