Is the corner of the table rounded? I was wondering if I could use this to replace the sharp corner bowl stand my dog is using. He's been hit twice.

Yes, the bowls are also raised to make them easy to pick up, and the table has raised edges to keep food and water from spilling all over the place. Very sweet design.

Is this rack too tall for a corgi?

Your Corgi should be able to use it My dog's range from 25 to over 100 lb and every one of them can use it My cats included it just depends on the level you have it for my dogs all of them can use the highest level except for one he would be probably the first level a way to make it that it's closer for the short ones is to fold the legs in and set it on the floor
