We use this game all the time in our house, and it has honestly been one of the easiest ways to open up conversations about feelings without it feeling forced. My child has ADHD + ODD, so sitting down and talking about feelings directly doesn’t always go well for us. This turns it into active play instead, which makes a huge difference. The concept is simple, but really effective. How to play: There are 3 sets of cubes: • One set is feelings and emotions • One set is characters (animals, fantasy, real-life jobs) • One set is actions (like acting it out, drawing, storytelling) You roll all three and combine them. For example: You might roll “anxious” + “panda” + “act it out” Now your child can act like an anxious panda. Then you just keep rolling and playing. What I love about this is how naturally it builds emotional awareness. It helps kids: ✔ Identify feelings ✔ Understand what those feelings look like ✔ Express emotions in a safe, low-pressure way ✔ Start conversations they might not normally bring up It also sparks a lot of creativity and imagination, which keeps it fun instead of feeling like a “lesson.” As a parent, I’ve noticed this opens the door for deeper conversations without pushing or overwhelming my child. Sometimes the biggest feelings come out during play, and this gives them a really comfortable way to express that. It’s one of those tools that doesn’t feel like work, but actually does a lot behind the scenes. The categories are all shown as animated pictures, so younger kids can easily play without needing to know how to read or spell. Each cube is large, clear, and easy to understand. The whole set is durable and has held up very well. One thing to note: there is no secondary storage besides the box it comes in. However, everything can easily fit into a single large Ziplock bag once opened. Overall, this game is a really unique way to get kid's social + emotional skills active, and I feel the set was well the worth the cost. These are cute, but I didn't really find myself reaching for them very often (or at all). The blocks are wooden, so they make a lot of noise if you are trying to play with them on a table. I work in a school and recently had to move to a different school with a little smaller office. These did not make the cut to get moved to the new office. I left them for my successor...maybe she can find a good use for them.

Bought this for my grandson for one of his birthday gifts and he plays this all the time. He's 6 and seems to help him with some things, such as anxiety to going school, separation from mom or dad and his little brother. Gets them talking

These have been very useful within my practise and good conversation starters with children and young people about feelings. Lovely design and well made. I am sure I will use these for years to come! I got these on offer so were good value for money and a nice size to include in my tool kit as they are small and light.
