Love this loose leaf tea. Color is bright and package was nicely shipped. The taste is strong and the tea is pretty red.

The tea is slightly bitter and astringent.
Tansy tea contains thujone. It is the active ingredient in wormwood and absinth. It interferes with the transmission of nural impulses across synapses. I think it takes about three days to clear from your system. You probably won't notice it in 1/2 tbsp per day. It is harmless. There are also other bioactive chemicals in tansy tea.
