My kids love it!!
Excellent tablet for kids! Amazon makes high-quality products, and this one is no exception. It’s durable, easy for children to use, and the protective case does a great job of preventing damage from drops. The battery lasts a long time, and the parental controls are one of the best features, making it easy to manage screen time and content. My daughters love it, and it has been a great purchase. I highly recommend it to any family with young children.

A great warranty! 2 years!
Even though it quit working after just a few months with no serious drops or any kind of damage from an active 5 year old, I'm giving this 5 stars because of the 2 year warranty. All I had to do was send it back in and a new one has already arrived. The only thing I will warn you about is if you have to replace it, do NOT send back the charger and the case when returning as it will not be replaced. Only send back the actual tablet.

Perfect find!
This was a perfect tablet size and quality for our little. We bought on prime day and thought it was a steal to get kids Amazon content included in the low price of $50. We even used the Amazon “worry free guarantee” to replace a broken screen. Such a great form of technology for toddlers!

Good for young kids, clear picture, good options, a little alow
This is the second Amazon fire 7 tablet I’ve bought. They are great for younger kids and you can’t beat the price. The price also brings it being pretty slow and will just get slower over time. These have great quality and options for kids though. The case is a life saver too.

Absolutely the best gift I’ve given my toddler!!
I purchased this tablet for my toddler for Christmas and I am so happy that I did! My little guy goes to early learning preschool and he was a little behind other kids his age when it came to colors, letters, matching, etc.. I was not sure about purchasing a tablet since he’s a toddler I didn’t want him to constantly be on it but this tablet has made it incredibly easy to control that! I have an app on my phone that controls the amount of screen time he gets, which apps he can have, he can send requests to me for apps if he wants something, and I can monitor his activities and what all he’s doing on it. With the Amazon kids subscription it has so much content already on it and it’s all quality learning apps which I am thankful for! As a bonus this subscription is literally free for an entire year!! With the content Amazon provides along with Lucas and friends apps my son has learned sorting, colors, new words, tracing letters, matching, I could go on and on in less than two weeks time! I’m am genuinely amazed at how well he learned with these apps! We also use ABC mouse which is awesome in itself! He gets to use it for about 1-2 hrs a day and it’s plenty of time for him. The tablet itself works great! We haven’t had any issues with it at all. It comes in a cute little case that protects and I also order the anti-glare screen protector which I do believe has saved it a few times! It only needs to charge like once a week and it’s good to go! The screen is the perfect size and very clear! It has zero issues loading content and thank god because toddlers are so impatient lol All in all if your debating on whether to purchase this for your child DO IT!!! Only issue I have is I wish it had more space but that’s a simple fix with a SD card.. even without it the preloaded content is massive! 10/10 I would recommend parents to use it! It beats watching cartoons I guess lol

Full me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Regrettably, after I smashed the first one in anger at it not working, we purchased a second tablet. Save yourself the trouble and just don't bother with it. Unless you pay for more GB, which is NOT worth the money, you'll only be able to use ~3 apps. Originally purchased a tablet with "10 GB" storage but the software to run the tablet takes up 9 GB. Was only able to download a few apps before the storage was full up. Had to purchase a separate microSD card, which is cheaper than paying for the higher GB tablet. It was annoying to setup the external microSD card, not intuitive at all and the Amazon help pages were useless on it. Wish I could remember which option to select, but it took trial and error. It's like they want you to give up and instead purchase another tablet with more storage -- which mind you, I got more storage and bang for my buck by purchasing a separate microSD card for it. If you're still planning on purchasing this, I don't recommend shelling out the extra $$ for the "32GB" option (remember, after the OS takes up 10GB of space, you'll only have 23GB left to use. The Amazon Kids subscription on this tablet is clunky to use and unless you want your kiddo to have full access to a fire tablet / web access / full app store / etc. then this is NOT the tablet for you. It takes the parent putting in a ton of securities to prevent little kids from accessing things they should not. Which, in turn, makes it annoying to switch between profiles but also necessary to make it kid-safe to use. The Kids Amazon parent dashboard settings and content management is the WORST I've ever used 😮💨 I'll try to sum it up --- the "daily limit" settings makes it difficult to access the tablet, even when it's within the daily usage limit (set from 8AM-8PM and yet at 11AM, I was still locked out of the tablet and had to restart it to gain access). The option to "limit to educational content only" for a specific time, DOES NOT allow educational content to be used. ABCMouse, which is an educational app, is unable to be used when this limit is applied -- but yet "Frozen Free Fall" is "educational" -- whoever made that decision, clearly has less than a high school education. Additionally, the Amazon kids+ comes with a massive amount of content that's difficult to find when not on looking at it from the parent dashboard and you can only select one at a time. Block 20, and 30 more appear. It's annoying. I also do not appreciate having things auto-loaded to my kid's tablet for content such as "Vlad and Nikki" which is a tv show that's one step above YouTube unboxing videos. Children don't learn anything from those videos other than how to be materialistic in life. The ONLY positive is that the case has managed to keep this thing safe since my kid was 1 years old to now almost 4 years old, without any bumps to the device and the case itself is still fully intact. Review Synopsis: I don't recommend this product to anyone. Product is subpar for the price. You WILL need an additional microSD card to use more than a few apps on it. Amazon Kids+ subscription is basically unlimited internet and content, no matter the age limit set. Parental dashboard/limits are lame and don't work well.

Great kid-friendly tablet for the price
This Fire 7 Kids tablet has been a great little tablet for a younger kid. The size is easy for small hands to hold, and the blue protective case makes it feel much less fragile than a regular tablet. Setup was simple, and the parental controls are one of the best parts because it is easy to keep the experience age appropriate without constantly hovering over it. The included kid-focused content is convenient, and it is nice having something ready to use for games, books, and shows without needing to hunt around for everything separately. Battery life has been solid for everyday use, and the tablet is light enough to toss in a bag for car rides or waiting rooms. For the price and what it is meant to do, it has been dependable, simple, and genuinely useful.
