It’s sturdy and nice looking.
Very nice coat rack. Nice looking black marble base, and metal pole and hooks. Pretty sturdy and easy to assemble. Unfortunately not made in USA- (we need to do better) it was made in China but not cheap like a lot of Chinese products.

Sturdy coat rack
The coat rack is sturdy. It was fairly easy to assemble. It handles a good amount of weight. I put a lot of things on it. It looks nice. Would buy this brand again.

Poor quality, soft metal strips on build, likes to tip over.
More junk! Very unbalanced, when several coats are on it, expect it to fall. Parts are cheap, soft metal, threads strips easily when building it. Item seems to fall apart on its own. I don’t even have to touch it and it will fall or parts just become loose. I was very disappointed.

Sturdy and Easy to Assemble !
Easy for a 70 year old to put together. Sturdy, looks nice. There was no screwdriver, but I had one that worked. Lots of hooks so it holds a lot of items. The base is very heavy so it doesn’t topple over or slant. A great coat rack!

Highly Over priced
The product is as acceptable as shown in the picture. HOWEVER, it’s highly overpriced. Better products of similar category is available in Kolkata at 1/4th the price. A ripoff literally!

Finding a good hat/coat rack these days is hard. This one is good. Sturdy. Classic look and functional. Sent promptly and arrived in good condition.

A lot sturdier than my 3-legged wooden rack
I used a $40 wooden 3-legged coat rack for about 3 years that finally died on me. It had 8 “hooks” and tended to tip over quite frequently (which was annoying). It really couldn’t handle the weight of my coats. A few days ago, one of the wooden pieces holding the legs together broke apart under that burden, resulting in the entire thing toppling over one last time……So after some Amazon searching, I ordered this metal + marble coat rack as a replacement. This coat rack is a lot more of an investment ($103 CAD including taxes), but it has a heavy marble base and metal poles and hangers. It’s a lot sturdier and has more hooks (14 of them). There is assembly involved, but it’s all fairly simple to put together - Everything you need comes in the box, including a cheap screwdriver. The end result is not the sleekest or the nicest-looking, but it’s functional. There are a lot of silver-coloured screws that pop out and that are quite ugly to look at. The metal hooks in the middle of the rack are fairly ugly-looking, as well…….But at the end of the day, I cover this entire rack with so many coats (I have a lot of them) that you can’t even see the coat rack, let alone the metal screws underneath. The metal hooks are finished off by round plastic balls that you have to push in. (You’re also supposed to knock them in with a hard object, but I just realized that I forgot to do that…Oops!) They help to protect your coats from getting damaged by potentially sharp edges. The hooks feel sturdy and have so far held up under the weight of at least a dozen assorted jackets, parkas, and woolen coats of varying lengths and weights. I haven’t experienced any tipping over yet, so I’m released. The marble base is doing its job. I will note here, though, that while the marble base is solid, after assembling the coat rack, I did notice that it seemed to wobble a bit. Either my floor is uneven or the underside of the slab is not entirely level. They don’t include any of the typically felt pads to stick onto the underside to protect your floor, so you also need to be careful of trying to push it against your hard floor as it doesn’t sound great scraping/screeching against it. I will also note that while most of the parts feel sturdy and secure enough, there’s a silver-coloured plate or ring on top of the marble base where you stick the body pole of the rack into. I’m disappointed to report that that metal-looking piece is made of cheap plastic and just sort of rests on top of the marple base…It doesn’t even screw in, so you can easily spin it round and round even after the coat rack has been fully assembled. It’s not a huge deal for me, but it’s strange to have included such a ridiculously cheap plastic piece on this rack. All-in-all, so far, I’m really liking this rack….For me, I got it more for practical and convenience purposes as opposed to for aesthetic purposes….It’s holding a lot of coats and is still standing straight and tall. That’s good enough for me.
