SEIKO Automatic Watch for Men - Presage Cocktail Time - Patterned with Golden Numerals and Date Calendar, 50m Water-Resistant

This is my first mechanical watch and I like it a lot. The dial is beautiful, reacts very well in light, the green and gold combination is great! Adjusting time and date is very easy as it only has one crown to adjust both.

Very pleased with the watch, looks and feels wonderful. That being said, the comments about the band feeling cheap are not wrong. I will definitely be ordering a 20mm lug replacement band. Still totally worth the buy! Great addition to my elevated formal wear without being over the top.

Seiko quality. It’s keeps time better than the premium watch that starts with “R”. The cocktail series is named for famous Japanese cocktails. This one is the Mockingbird. The face is a beautiful green sunburst. It gets comments every time I wear it

Great-looking watch, but the photo of the blue dial color is much brighter in person. The dial almost looks black unless it has a lot of light on it. This watch has the upgraded 4R35B caliber instead of the 4R35A. Both still have 23 Jewels, as stated on the back of the watch, regardless of what you might read online. It does have a Box-Shaped Hardlex crystal, which is better than a regular mineral crystal, but not as scratch-resistant as a sapphire crystal. You can upgrade the crystal to sapphire, but the ones I have found are not AR-coated and run $99 without tax or shipping, so you will need to include professional installation on this watch as well. The watch is easy to set, and the second hand stops when you pull out the crown, so you can stop it at the 12 position for precise time. Pressing the crown back in will restart the second-hand movement, so you have the exact time. If you want to change the date because of a month that has fewer than 31 days, move the time to the 6:30 position, change the date, then set the time. Why, you ask? To avoid damaging the delicate internal gears that automatically advance the date at midnight, a period often called the "danger zone" (roughly 9 PM to 3 AM). Even if your watch doesn't have this feature, this is a good habit to adopt. I got the leather band, and it fit perfectly right out of the box (7.5" wrist). However, the band doesn't seem perfectly centered in any hole, which isn't a deal breaker, but I would have thought at least one hole would have been perfectly centered. The watch is very thin and fits nicely under the sleeve of my dress shirts, and even better under my casual long-sleeve shirts. The watch is neither too big nor too small and goes from dress to casual, no problem. Had the dial been a brighter blue, I would have rated this 5 stars. Had the watch had a sapphire crystal, I would have rated it 5 stars. However, with both of these features missing, I give it 4.5 stars. It's still a beautiful watch, and striking in the correct light, and I would recommend buying it again. Also one last thing, this watch keeps great time about +/- 4 seconds per day, when worn daily.

The Seiko SRPK15 itself is stunning — the blue patterned dial looks even better in person, the movement feels solid, and it wears comfortably on the wrist. However, I was disappointed that my package was missing important standard inclusions: no instruction manual, no warranty card/booklet, and no Seiko tags or stickers. For a Presage watch at this price point, I expected a complete presentation with all original materials. The watch is great, but the incomplete box takes away from the overall experience and raises questions about quality control.

Would have liked faster delivery but I guess it was worth the wait. Its been 8 days straight I have been using the product everyday.

Wow, what a watch. Calm yet strong in its presence. As always, Seiko truly delivers. The Presage Cocktail has an elegant style and carries a genuine touch of Japanese tradition and craftsmanship. I would definitely recommend this as a solid dress watch.

Fue una compra impulsiva, vi las fotos y me gusto el reloj, ademas lo consegui en una buena oferta, pero nunca considere si de verdad se ajustaba a mi estilo de vida y mi dia a dia y mis vestuarios, lo cierto es que es un reloj de vestir y que esta pensado para usarse con correa de cuero y para ocasiones formales o semi formales, en cuyo caso no tendria sentido para mi coleccion personal ya que no lo usaria casi nunca, pero he visto varios longines elegantes que vienen por defecto con correa de caucho y quise experimentar con este, yo se que a ojos de muchos les parecera raro e incompatible pero a mi me gusto y eso es lo que importa, pudiera haberlo regresado o regalarlo simplemente guardarlo en su estuche sin usarlo casi nunca pero con el gusto de tener un reloj hermoso de una gran marca aunque no se ajustara a mi, pero con esta correa de caucho universal que le puse se adapta mejor a mi y lo estoy usando con mucho gusto. El reloj en si tiene una marca de prestigio respaldandola, el dial es precioso, yo lo encontre a buen precio pero siento que 400 dolares no esta mal por el, no me gusta que el cristal sea hardlex pero tampoco siento que deba romper el trato con tal de tener esta hermosa caratula con un calibre automatico confiable y de una gran marca. Tengo medio mes usándolo y solo he tenido un incidente donde el segundero se detuvo del todo y por mas que le di cuerda este no se movia, pero evite desencantarme de el y lo que hice fue mover las manecillas ( aun sin carga, cosa que estoy consiente que no se debe hacer) hasta llegar a las 6 pm y volvi a darle cuerda y ya se movio el segundero y tienen una semana desde ese dia y no ha dando ningun problema y no tampoco he tenido problemas de desfasarse en el tiempo mas de lo normal ... Entre 5 y 15 segundos al dia mas o menos.... Mi recomendacion es que si tiene dias sin carga pues se tomen la molestia de darle cuerda a razon de 30 vueltas completas para evitar este tipo de problemas En general estoy muy satisfecho y lo recomiendo ampliamente... Estaria mas feliz si el cristal fuera de zafiro y se que le doy un estilo poco ortodoxo pero en cuanto a calidad no tienen de que preocuparse Por cierto y como referencia, mi muñeca es de 16 cm (6.25 pulgadas) y este reloj tiene un diametro de caja 38.5 cm por lo que queda bien, pero siento que otro modelo de 40.5 cm de diametro de caja ya se veria un poco mal en mi muñeca
