Works great
It works well, but I’ve had to replace it once after it stopped working for no certain reason.

Unwatchable quality
Bought this to move 8mm videos to digital. Setup was pretty easy but the software the manual says to download could not be found on the internet even after spending 2 hours looking. The manual was obviously written by a non English speaker. So I tried using QuickTime as another reviewer suggested. Got it to work, BUT the audio is way out of synch with the picture (like more than a second or two) and the picture is way too dark and way too grainy. Unusable. It was only seventeen dollars, but that's all money wasted as well as my time trying to get it to work.

Works with Android apps like USB Camera and nExt
I'm quite impressed with this cable. For less than $20, you can turn any computer, iPad, or android phone into a rca composite recording device. I use mine with camcorders as an alternative to the ImmersionRC and I honestly like the convenience of being able to record straight to the phone or live stream from it.

Fine for basic analog video capture
So far this is rock solid reliable for basic video capture. If you don't need HDMI or other high resolution capture, which I don't, this is a great way to capture video from devices (such as cheap security cameras or video glitching devices) that offer composite output. Not quite sure about the sound quality from the RCA inputs, still troubleshooting that. But the video looks good, and that's what I bought it for.

Perfect for canonGL1 to android
Worked perfect for displaying video from my mini DV canon gl1 to android using “USB camera” app. Didn’t work for my iPhone but worked fine for android

Does not convert Mini DV to MP4
Purchased this with the intention of transferring video from Mini DV Camcorder to my MacBook Air. This converter will not do that. 3 Star rating as it is made well, but description led me to believe it would work for my application.

Display's analog video on my Meta Quest 2 for FPV flying
Works perfectly to display analog video on my Quest 2 for FPV flying. I don't notice any latency, but then again I am not flying in a way where it would matter. To test latency I aim the camera at myself and watch myself through the headset, then I snap my fingers, and the image I see on the quest seems perfectly in sync with my body movement. I used the Meta Quest HDMI Link app on the Quest 2. The Quest powered the capture device (XMSJSIY RCA AV to USB C Converter) just fine, and displayed the analog video very nicely.
