These are easier to tie on than I expected. Now that I know the technique, I can put them on my daughter's hair in just a few minutes. My girls (ages 12 and 9) absolutely love them. But, they don't stay in very long. Some of them have fallen out after only 1 day. I'm not sure if they would stay in longer if done professionally, but I appreciate the fact that I can replace them very quickly and easily in my own home. If I had paid to have these put in, and then they fell out, I'd be really annoyed at the waste of money and time. Being able to do it myself is the only way to go for our busy family. For less than the cost of getting it done professionally ONE TIME, I can put them in whenever we want, however many we want, and in whatever colors we want. The strands themselves are really pretty...very shiny. They really catch the light and look gorgeous in my daughters' hair. So far, the gold strands in my daughter's dark blond hair is my personal favorite, but the rainbow is really pretty, too. Surprisingly, the "royal blue" in my other daughter's medium brown hair much more subtle than I expected (you almost have to look for it to see it), but the silver and rainbow in her hair really "pop."

I loved the quality and colors of the hair tinsel and found it was very pretty when attached to hair. There's enough colors to match anyone's desires and they really show up under lights to create a pretty effect. It takes a little practice to attach the strands, but if you watch on You Tube you can learn how to do it!

So happy with this product. Had to Google some videos for how to put fairy hair in my kids hair. The pink bag that it came with is pretty crappy. It looked nice at first, but it is fraying a lot, so the hair packets get caught when trying to take them out. Would recommend another bag or container of better quality, but the quality of the hair is fine. It's been fun to play with!

I love this product. The value was awesome for the amount of these you receive. I personally don't put a ton in people's hair because they are going for an everyday look. If you were to want a ton of these for an event then be prepared to spend a lot of time on it and probably find someone else to do it. It is really hard to put these into your own hair, and I had to watch multiple videos to learn how to put it in other people's hair, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy. I found that if you place them correctly, they can last weeks without falling out. You are able to wash your hair, straighten it, blow dry it and style it with no problem, however - these things may mean it won't stay in your hair as long. one of my friends even had her hair washed, dyed, blow dried and cut at a salon and they stayed in! Again, keep in mind, it depends how well you put them in.

Fell out of the kids hair faster than other brands, but still worked

a lot of the tinsel was short and definitely not 40”. i have long hair and the short pieces won’t work for me. so i just bought fairy hair for my daughter apparently. the colors were bright tho. only positive about this.

So much high quality hair tinsel...I should have this for the next 20 years. Takes a bit of practice to apply them correctly where they stay in but that’s all just practice and patience. I can not do this to myself in my own hair. I did this to my daughters hair and it lasted almost a week. It’s awkward dealing with 3 strands of hair and a piece of long hair tinsel but the results are fun and beautiful. Nice alternative to add a pop without hair dye.

Hairy fairy fun! Super easy and great price! Look up hair tinsel or hair fairy on youtube. Buy some lash glue to dot the knot. Comes with huge selection of tinsel and tool for insertion. I didnt use the combs. Many young girls loved the colors and beauty of the tinsel. Fast shipping and pretty box to contain everything in- just add scissors,comb and little clips! It's been 7 weeks for a few strands still in and the tinsel looks great!

As a hair stylist, I thought these would be easy to install on my own head but it is definitely challenging. However with help, they look and feel great. They also style well with heat. Loved wearing my hair curled with these! Also if tied in right, some lasted a good 10 washes.

Colors are as vibrant as the pictures. Impossible for me to tie to my own hair so I've knotted them to Bobby pins that I hide in my hair - it works great and I'm not devistated if a strand falls out like when I get them done by my stylist 😂

I am sorry to say this product is not worth a dollar never mind what it costed. I have had hair tinsel in the past from professional hair dressers and the quality was excellent! I have had over 80 strands put in and it lasted for months so I know that this particular product was at fault and not us! My highly experienced hair stylist tried for over an hour to make this product work to no avail. This was a VERY disappointing product and I have been granted a refund. Thank you and good luck.

Love it! Once you learn the technique to tie them in, they stay in well. Used them in my daughters hair. Works well in long hair, not so well in shorter hair.
