Nokta Simplex Ultra WHP Waterproof Metal Detector with Wireless Headphones and 11” Search Coil, Professional Metal Detectors with Accessories (with Wireless Headphones)

This unit has a lot of capabilities, it's a little complicated for a beginner, I have to read the manual before I use it. It does detect very small objects, I found a small screw i lost in some gravel and a 22 cartridge. The headphones are good quality and can be used with any Bluetooth enabled item.

Really like this detector, I'm just a basic hobbiest and don't use it very often, but it seems to work very. I was looks for an upgrade for the old Bounty Hunter I have and this really is a big improvement. When searching in areas that I can't dig deep holes adjusting sensitivity makes it is possible to only detect objects near the surface. Also lots of great videos on youtube about this detector and that gets you enthused about getting out and using it.

For the price, it can't be beet for a single frequency detector! You won't find a better deal then the Simplex Ultra. My only problem was the bent pin in the coil wire. Had to exchange with zero issues. I have found tons of worthless iron, a piggy bank size of coins and zero pieces of gold with this machine so far. If your looking for a coin magnet, you've found it!

I've been a user of metal detectors for many years when I was younger, having gone to vacant lots, ghost towns, open fields and I've found some neat things from coins to relics. Stopped for some reason but now interested again. I have two Fisher M Scope - 1210x metal detectors in nearly new condition. They were bought not long after they first came out and I found a lot of buried coins and relics with these detectors. But the technology has far surpassed this model. After a lengthy review of detectors in my price range, I opted for the Nokta Simplex Ultra WHP w/headphones. Haven't had a chance to use it yet due to the weather, but a very nice unit, light, responsive to coins/relics in an air test and easy to program for various depths, soil conditions and locations. Well made and I'm anxious to get this detector out in the field. Sorry I can't say any more about my finds yet but I see no reason why this won't fulfill all of my expectations as soon as the heavy rain/snow stops. Had no problem getting it up and running. The purchase came with wireless headphones and an 11" coil. Several hardcore detectorist said they prefer a small coil for certain buried objects so I got a 6"x9" coil. The Fisher coil is an 8" round and it worked well so I took the plunge. Detecting equipment is not inexpensive, but I figure what I got will last me for my lifetime. I don't think I went wrong with this model metal detector.

Excited to break into the hobby with this model. Easy to use and plenty of fun.

I have used a NOX 800 for a few years. I found this Simplex fairly difficult to learn and use. Sure, you can turn it on and go find stuff....but some of the functions were a challenge for me. Anyway, it's a good machine and it does what its supposed to do!

Far better than expected for the money. Good on beach and fields, very accurate readings, ensured good use of digging time. One for amateurs and experienced searchers. Would highly recommend to anyone.

En étant à mon troisième détecteur de métal , celui-ci dépasse toute mes attentes. Le produit est de qualité et m’a permis de découvrir des pièces de monnaie ensevelis à près de 30cm sous terre. C’est un excellent rapport qualité prix, facile d’utilisation même si les instructions ne sont qu’en anglais, je recommande tout de même cet achat sans hésitation.

I haven't used mine yet due to ill health but my partner bought the same one and used it last week on a club dig. He found a commemorative medallion which was pre 1910. Very happy with the simple setting up procedure. I am still learning about all the different programmes etc as I am fairly new to it all but at the moment I can say I am really happy with it.
