So good for people with ADHD. If you want a fun timer, this is the one.
I'm a productivity coach and a person with really bad ADHD. I use these timers all the time for myself and recommend them to all my clients. This is the brand that I prefer and I've had clients purchase cheaper versions and they definitely feel cheaper (although they still work) This little gadget is intuitive to use and SO helpful. Especially for people with ADHD because it adds a fun and tactile element to time management that really helps with dopamine. The battery life is amazing. I use these at least a few times a week and I need to charge them maybe once a month. The sound is sort of a standard beep. It's a little bit of an unpleasant sound, but it's a timer. It's fairly loud - not enough to wak up someone in another room, but it might startle you if you are very focused. Personally, I prefer the vibration function since it doesn't startle me as much. This timer functions beautifully. It is so easy to just hit the button and set it to whatever time you want, and it makes it fun to do little 3 minute cleaning sprints or see how many emails you can get through in 5 minutes or meditate for 20 minutes. I basically can't live without mine. I have one in blue and one in peach (one lives on my desk and the other in my work bag) and they are both awesome.

Use the provided charging cord
I have used this product for two months and absolutely love it! I keep it on my desk at work and it has helped me to remain focused on the task at hand until the timer buzzes. Note: The first time the battery completely discharged I was unable to charge it and I thought this product was useless. Note that I was using an iPad charging cord and not the cord that arrived with this timer. As soon as I used the correct cord, it worked like a charm!

terrible unfortunate battery life - won't hold charge
I love everything about this except how I have to charge it everytime before I use it, every day. I use the charging cable that comes with it, as others have mentioned and it still dies everyday. I turn it off after using it for a couple hours and it's dead by the next day. I have to remember to charge it at the beginning of every day or else i can't use it when I want. Great for desktop, work chunking, wish the charge held longer. update: it barely holds a charge at all, is pretty much useless now, everytime i reach for it it is dead. What a waste of money and plastic :(

Good, but its USB-C port is misleading
The timer has a USB-C port, and comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable. I discovered through trial and error that it will not charge through a USB-C cable connected to a USB-C port on an AC adapter. However, the timer was chargeable with any USB-A to USB-C cable connected to a USB-A port on an AC adapter (Anker, old iPhone adapter, etc.). I think this means that the timer does not support the USB Power Delivery specification. mooas might as well have put a micro-B connector on the timer, just to remind customers that their USB-C chargers are unlikely to work. Charging annoyance aside, the timer works as advertised. There are three alarm modes, all of which are accompanied by three to four-blink bursts on the LED: beeping, vibration, and silence. Beeping mode is subjectively quite loud, and I found myself wishing for an additional quiet beep setting, but itโs not a big deal. I now have a way to set time limits on activities without the temptation to check a display.

Charge with USB-C data transfer cable + tip for low light environment
This is a great timer. I use it to time almost any task sedentary task I'm performing (like doing chess tactics exercises, musical exercises, writing exercises). Because the audible alarm is not loud, I don't think it is good for loud or physically active tasks (like a kitchen timer or timing physical exercises) ... you need to have the timer in your field of view (to see the flashing light) or the environment needs to be quiet enough that the vibration or quiet beep can get your attention. But there are plenty of tasks that are compatible and this timer is the simplest way to time them. Tip: The numbers embossed on the sides are hard to read in low light, and so it can be easy to set the wrong time interval. if you are in a low light situation, use a sticker (e.g. a small post-it is fine) to indicate which side you want to put on top to start/re-start the timer. Charging requires a USB-C cable that is connected to a USB-A power source. A cable that is USB-C on both both ends will not work. I've tested a number of different cables and as long as the charging cable has a USB-A connector on one end, then charging will work. I've even tested with a USB-C charging port, but added a USB-C to USB-A converter cable and then a USB-A to USB-C cable connected to the timer and that worked. It is only USB-C direct to USB-C that doesn't work. No clue why, but at least you can use other cables to charge the timer if you misplace the originally provided cable.

Worked great until it stopped charging
Good: Loved it while it worked. 1 - Very intuitive actions to set the timer. 2 - Very useable sets of preset timers. The 1, 3, 25 mins setting were surprisingly useful; I did not think I would need those setting until I got this timer 3 - Timer options of sound, vibrate, and silent led blinks are great. 4 - USB C charging port meant I could use my laptop charger and one less charging cable on my desk 5 - Very convenient size and shape. You almost want to play with it as a fiddle toy (though that not a good thing if you have an active timer) Things I wish it could be better: There are a few things you have be cognizant of when using it 1 - Keep the instructions manual handy. You may need the manual to remember how to switch from sound to vibrate to silent mode since there is only 1 button for input and one led and vibrating option for feedback. Sometimes I accidentally set it to silent mode and loose track of time because I expected it to beep or vibrate. 2 - One charge lasted about 2 - 3 days. I use the timer about 3 - 5 times a day. For that amount of usage and simplicity of its purpose, I wish the charge lasted at least a week. Bad points: The reason I would not buy it again 1 - It went dead in about 2 months; it just stopped getting charged. I am guessing the either the rechargeable battery or the internal recharging mechanism is of bad quality.

Transformed the way I manage time!!
I love how small and effective this timer is. If you are in a sensitive area where you have to be quiet, it does have a vibration setting or you can have the sound go off. The design is aesthetically pleasing and looks very sleek on your work desk. My children always gravitated towards it when they were near my desk. It is very easy to use, my only complaint would be I wish I could see how much time I had left.

Stopped working after less than 2 months
It was wonderful while it worked but, after less than 2 months, it has stopped charging, so is now just an odd-shaped knick knack. I'm guessing the battery is rubbish, but it's impossible to open it up to replace it.

Highly recommend - neat little gadget.
Neat little gadget. Allows for timing projects and tasks without being tempted to keep looking at the time remaining. Highly recommend.
