Sling bag that checked the most boxes
I have been searching for a sling bag to fit my needs for a couple months. I live in a big city so I barely drive. I walk and use public trans. Wanted a bag that will hold my essentials so I wasn’t always worried about things falling out of my pockets. I also prefer front carry only. I’ve been using this bag about a week now and I’ll say I’m happy with it. Pros- Velcro on the front and inside backing to personalize the bag and add Velcro backed pouches - Left or right carry attachments for the bag - Zipper pulls are a nice touch - X-pac material available in dark camo - Robust plastic hardware and swivel clasp - Multiple attachment points on bag to attach gear, carabiners, and key rings -Large main compartment so you can do what you want for organization. I have my own slip cases and there are also 3 slim inside pockets on the inside flap. - Front pocket good for a wallet, transit cards, and things like that. Zipper closure. - Soft pad that keeps the bag comfortable against your body and also has molle loops to add to another bag. - Rear pocket that is good place for flat items only like tissues packs or letters. Has a Velcro closure in the center. Could be a con for you. - Bungie cord on the bottom of the bag to hold a water bottle or umbrella - Very comfortable front carry. I don’t see why I would want to carry my wallet on my back. But some ppl might. Cons- Wish it was a little cheaper but I think it’s a good value for what you get compared to other bags. - Shoulder pad has about an inch of play on the strap which I found annoying. I fixed this by tying the shoulder pad to the strap together with a piece of paracord. The first molle loop on the pad to the buckle loop on the strap. Fixed and I don’t notice it anymore. -Wish it had a sunglasses pouch but that’s kinda hard to find in a sling bag with all the other features of this bag. They sell a molle glasses case but ppl say it’s huge. There is a company called Marsupial that sells a slip case with a molle strap, slimmer dimensions and magnetic closure flap which is what I was looking for. But I’ll most likely use a Warby Parker soft slip case that I’ll store in the bag. - The buckle can’t be utilized in front carry mode. Have to swing the bag around or go over your head. I tend to do the latter. - The bungie cord allows things about 2-2 1/2” in circumference. Any larger you will have to invest in a spool of bungie paracord. - Wish it had a stabilizer strap but I carry things that are very light. I do have to straighten the bag from time to time when it slides but not often. I haven’t found a stabilizer strap useable for front carry on any bag so far. At least none that advertise it as such. UPDATE- it’s been about a year and a half and the bag has held up well. I did find a stabilizer strap that works. Keeps the bag very secure and no movement. https://a.co/d/0CQkbk1 I also added a leather pad on the strap where it rests on my ribs on my left side. I already had it and just makes it a bit more comfortable when I’m wearing it for a long time.

Good bag overall but on the small side for a pistol
On the small side to carry a pistol in. My g19 will fit with a holster but it’s a real tight squeeze. It’s perfect for my g26 though. Overall good construction I just wish It was a bit wider than long

Love this thing. Perfect small bag for an iPad Mini 6/folding keyboard.
I absolutely love this thing. Great quality, VERY modular, lightweight, my idea size for a small bag. Pockets are well-placed. Waterproofing seems adequate for light rain, haven't tried in a downpour. X-Pac rocks so I am not concerned. Might get a small rain fly for it. Materials are excellent, strap is very nice (and the padding is welcome), usually end up carrying it on my back or side. The strap mounts are swappable so you can move it to the other side. I got Tactical_Geek's 3 pack pouch kit and it works extremely well. I can carry my entire minimal school setup in here. Lots of options for expansion/modification. It's comfy and the weight is distributed well. The price feels a bit high, but you REALLY get what you pay for. This segment sucks. EDC tacticoolers have ruined the small bag market. Highly recommend. This is the best bag on the market for an iPad Mini 6 and plenty of your other stuff, in my opinion.

Beware of the strap buckles
Nice bag, good size and the quality so far seems good. My only complaint is the quick release buckle. What were they thinking? It is so big I have gouged my face several times. Will be replacing it with caribiners. Also feels a bit awkward at times to carry. Otherwise, I'm happy with it.

INVEST!
This is the perfectly sized bag for those who need a sturdy EDC sling, or if you happen to be a first responder like myself, carry all your must haves on emergency calls. Should strap is perfectly sized for me, and the padding stays wherever you leave it whether it’s your shoulder or chest. Durability wise, I’ve thrown it around a bit from the stretcher to the actual ambulance and it has held up so far. No micro tears or snag of any, and water, (or fluid) repellent is a huge plus. Compared to the other slings on here, you get more bang for your buck for the quality of the bag.

Awesome EDC Sling
I been looking for a sling for cycling, hiking, or travel purposes. Most of the ones I wanted were way overpriced or unavailable due to edc hype trends. I happened to come across this just before my trip. It looks great and perfect for what I wanted. Has 3 smaller compartments inside. Has one zipper to the front side. The back has another pouch with only velcro and full molle webbing too. I got an organizer with loop backing to put along the inside for my knives and flashlight etc. The bag feels very comfortable for wearing on either shoulder or front/back. I really hope it holds up well! The icing on top has a nice spot for some patches out front. I sure hope it holds up to use. Materials seem great. If I had to put a negative, I'd wish the stitching was little more robust. Maybe some double stitch would be nice, but we shall see how it holds up!

A very unfortunate miss.
I think the L3 bag was pretty solid when I first opened the package. It filled the niche for a long-ish sling bag that basically carries your daily squeeze and some basic EDC. But once I started installing my squeeze and get to dry firing, all the problem started to show. For the starter, the squeeze compartment was pretty awkward. It is spacious enough that I can fit a full-size Staccato in it, and vertically barely taking the 140mm magazine, the magazines have to free float in the item pouch on the side because there are no velcros, and I must angle the squeeze, that takes more spaces, because the zipper does not go down all the way, or lacking any other openings for a clean horizontal draw. I can choose to carry a smaller squeeze but that defeats the purpose of bag carry. The fact that it is designed by a Chinese team really shows. Similarly, there are no side straps for quickly moving the bag to the front to access the squeeze. Second, the strap is really unappealing. The strap padding is uncomfortable and slips around, while the strap itself lacks any fast tension adjustment. This is a great oversight considering sling bags tends to drop when bending down, fast tension allows quick tugging to secure the bag, but instead it is secured with a strap loop that kills the ability to fast tension. The FS like QD tubes is far from fast, and the button is so small and stiff that I don't think it is reliable for quickly releasing your bag if it is stuck. Lastly, since there is one single main compartment, if you decide to go with a firearm, the rest of the space can barely hold anything bulky, such as a powerful powerbank or ifak. But I don't think this is a big deal, given that longer trips should use a bigger bag in general.

gute TAsche

The Tactical_Geek Cache L3 is not as sturdy as it seems.
I will be returning this item as it has torn within 2 days of use. There is a back pocket that is sealed with Velcro. I’ve only separated the Velcro three times. once to see how the bag sits with my phone in the pouch the second to take my phone back out and today, the third time when the Velcro stayed together and the stitching separated instead (see photos). For an item with the word tactical in the title I would expect more sturdy material.

Daily driver, still holds up
Not overly heavy but solid construction. No issues, no tears, holds a ton.
