Bostonian Men's Prescott Slip-on

Bought these for my husband for his birthday. He has always, always (for years and years) bought the Florsheim Milano style and wanted them again. After doing a search on the internet for best price on Florsheim, Amazon, as usual, had the best price. These popped up on Amazon when I was "looking" at the Florsheim, I read the reviews, some of which compared them with the Florsheim Milano. I thought, "Why not take a chance and I can always return them if he doesn't like them, replacing them with the Florsheim". I want to let everyone out there know that the reviews are correct: These are just as comfortable, and may even be more comfortable according to my husband, than the Florsheim. They look just as good and my husband said they have a softer feel. They look much more expensive than they cost, and the cost compared to the Florsheim is much more reasonable; actually, it is a great deal. My husband says from now on he will want the Bostonian Men's Prescott shoe.The one thing I would like to mention is, and this is in some of the reviews too, the shoe size for this Bostonian Prescott is smaller than the Florsheim Milano. My husband always took 11-1/2 D in the Florsheim, so I originally ordered that size in these Bostonians. They were too large and loose. So I contacted Amazon and exchanged them for these 11 D's. You might want to keep in mind that they run large, as other reviews mention.The return and refund went beautifully...no problems at all. And these replacements were received in quick time, as were the ones originally ordered. In fact, the shipping was so fast I couldn't believe it when they came. So, great service on shipping of these. We live in Florida, Lakeland area, and that might have something to do with the shipping speed as Amazon now has warehouses near here.So, we would highly recommend these if you are looking at the Florsheim. You may want to give these a try and you may be "sold" as we are. And Thanks Again Amazon, for your great prices and service.

I purchased this shoe at a Departmental Store, and enjoyed very much. It is both comfortable, affordable and very good looking as well. My job requires me to walk much during the day as a Hotel Manager, thus the wear on the shoes not to mention on my feet requires comfortable and durable shoes. I found both with this pair. And Yes, I bought two of them, and if they continue as in previous pair, I will be purchasing them again. The shoes feels so comforable, I sometime forget I have them on. They fit snug enough but not tight, seems like walking with out it, thus it is also very light weight, again excellent for my job. I recommend it to many.

These are the best pair of shoes that a man can get. I am so sure that after my 1st pair I bought 10 more pairs of these shoes, so far I am on my 4th pair and I have 7 more of them stocked-up in the closet. The size is very accurate - I usually had problems with correct sizing but with these shoes the problem is gone, I wear 13D. But the most important feature of these shoes is the comfort, I wear these shoes 10 per workday on average and my feet never feel tired and I never had blisters on the back of the heels with the Prescott shoes, they feel pretty much like slippers. My Adidas rubber-gel slides that I wear at home weight more than these ones. Sometimes I have to walk far, for long distances and even run so these shoes are a blessing. I wouldn't change these shoes for any other brand or model of shoes out there because these shoes were proven to me by years of wear, even in the rain or snow (I don't reccomend wearing them in snow, but I work in the city). I just hope that Bostonian would not discontinue and keep on making them.

_Looks: small/narrow, Stylish shoes._Fit: snug and very comfortable in all area. Feel secure, low to ground. Will fit most of foot type ( narrow, medium, some what wide)_Leather: On a thinner side with supple top leather. Not your typical genuine thick leather (get better overtime), but rather a very well pre-treated top leather (nice and soft out of the box)._Finish: polyurethane gloss finish._Pad: Very well leather padded, very nice heel suede. Feel very comfortable out of the box._Upper stitching: provide a durable upper with stitch around the toe box._Out sole: comfortable out sole design with some stitch in the toe box for durability. The black paint of the out sole looks a little bit cheap._Insole: good comfort, but i would recommend a better insoles replacement if you intend to walk more than 2 miles a day_Sizing: True to size. Recommend true too size.Summary: for $60, this is a decent all around business shoes where i get comfort, stylish, professional look, light weight . I would chose this pair over than any other shoes under $60-$80. Highly recommend if you have it on sale. Happy shopping.

I have been a "died-in-the-wool" fan of Florsheim Loafers for years and years. In recent years, the overall quality of my favorite Florsheim, the Richfield Dress Slip-on's, had started to slip in quality, especially in the burgundy version of this shoe....which eventually became so bad that Florsheim stopped making it altogether in that color. Still, I hung on to the same shoe in black up until now, but alas, that seems to be going the way of its brown clad brother, reduction in quality and no reduction in price. I was desperate, so I spotted the Bostonian Slip-ons, which not only looked good to me, but the price reduction from that of the Florsheim was extremely attractive for my retiree's wallet. I have had these Bostonian Prescott Slip-on's now for a week (in black and burgundy) and I could not be happier; not only for the way they fit (got the exact size I asked for), but the way they feel on my foot (no break in needed) and the way they look (smart and stylish), and for a couple of dollars more than I usually pay for one pair of the Florsheim's, I got two pair of these wonderful shoes. I absolutely love them!

My favorite shoe. The first pair felt like wearing slippers. This is the same shoe and the same size but fit slightly tighter.

Very comfortable shoe -- like wearing a slipper. Have bought before and will buy again.

This is at least my 4th pair of these shoes. Always a perfect fit.
