Excellent Buy!
I had been searching for an ice shaver so I could make snow cones for my kiddos during the hot summer. But I didn’t just want any ice shaver, I wanted one that has a more snow like texture rather than finely crushed ice. This shaver fits the bill. And it’s very heavy duty. I have made snow cones all summer and I love how quickly this machine shaves the ice. I searched for over a two weeks and finally settled on this because I wanted something affordable, durable and easy to clean and this machine is all of that and more. Easy to use and not as noisy as others. Great little late night find. I highly recommended. Performs great and I think it will last quite a while.

Pretty good!
Makes nice fluffy snow like ice. It does take several minutes to make a decent amount, so some of it melts before you can eat it. I love “tropical snow” like ice drinks and this is quite similar. Overall pretty good.

No regrets on buying this. Was previously using a hand cranked one so this is an amazingly fast ice shaver and not a bad price at all. Will shave enough ice for 2-3 average snow cones in about 5 seconds. Fool proof design extremely easy to operate!

Doesn't work properly
THIS SUCKS, THE ICE KEPT GETTING STUCK ,I WOULD HAVE TO USE A FORK TO GET THE ICE EVERY TIME I PUT A CUP OF ICE IN FOR SHREDDING. DEFINITELY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS ONE

Easy to use
My son loves this ice shaver. Its easy to use and quick to make snow cones. Make sure to keep a large enough container underneath to minimize the mess. Its easy to clean and not heavy for kids.

DOES NOT CRUSH THE ICE. ONLY SHAVES THE ICE TO MAKE ICE POPSYCLES OR SORBETS

Great!
I absolutely love this machine and wish I had purchased it from the beginning. I eat slushees daily and have gone through about 3-4 machines in less than a year or so. They were cheaper but with good reviews but obviously cannot handle my volume lol. I sucked it up and bought this one even though it was a bit pricier and am sooooo glad I did. It shaves the ice like snow and it super quick. Easy to use and store. Great purchase!
