Great planter tool ,makes so much easier and faster :) Good sturdy handle

This is a super sturdy and very well-made tool that greatly facilitates planting seeds and smaller plants in my garden. It has a measure to indicate how deep the hole you are making in the soil is. It is made of wood and stainless steel so it will stay useful for a long time. Love it!

This does the job. Seems to be well made but I’ll have to update my review after I’ve used it a bit and see how long it lasts.

This little device made planting bulbs a breeze! It's quick and simple to poke it into the ground and make a place to plant the bulbs. It even works for larger bulbs. I just inserted it into the ground and twisted it around a bit to make a larger hole.

I have had one of these tools now for yesrs...then after several I had to replace the old one.....Exact replacement..... These are just sooo handy if you start plants from seed....later you can precession plant your seedlings in rows or in the garden real fast...just push in the ground..roll it around to open the hole as large as you need...Drop in the little plant and close the hole, if your planting bulbs.... Just roll it around and deeper..... Smaller bulbs are very easy to plant fast too... Exactly where the plant needs to be... .......... This would make a great. Great gift for a gardener.... Follow up 02 Nov 2017......after a season of use sadly the wood handle separated from the metal pointer.....will sink 2 thin screws deeper that should hold it....still love having this around...just soooo handy....

The metal end was already wobbly and leads me to believe that it will fall off the wooden handle in a matter of time, but while it is attached it does work as intended. Wish the markings were easier to read.

I wish I had gotten one of these sooner. This dibble is built very well, and it's smooth to the touch so easy on the hands. It's very strong. This season I decided to do some intensive cardboard sheet mulch. When wet, the cardboard is easily pierced by this, then I can jostle it around to created a big enough hole for a seedling plant or seed (if I fill back a little soil to reduce the depth of the depression). It's also good for quick aeration of the soil in my raised bed where quack grass is rife. Love it!!!
