create your own flavours
Felenny Instant Cold Plate Ice Cream Roll Maker with 2 Spatulas DIY Ice Cream Roller Pan Make Easy Ice Cream Rolls Cold Sweet Fried Food Plate for Homemade Rolled Cream Frozen Yogurt Gelato The tray has to be kept in the freezer for 24 hours before use and will only last for a very short time before it has to be put back in the freezer. To use: pour out some cream, fruit puree or yogurt over the frozen tray, chop up some fruit at the ready and blend in quickly, mix thoroughly, spread it evenly across the tray, roll into strips and serve immediately. Place back in the freezer and start again. I wanted to try a lower calorie ice cream so I used some zero fat yogurt and mixed with chopped strawberries to see what it would be like. It was a little tricky scrapping the yogurt without the dish sliding about but it was fairly successful. It makes for a different way of serving low fat yogurt or creating new flavours of ice cream, but you do need to be prepared in advance due to the 24 hour wait with the dish in the freezer.

Fun but not quite frozen...
Cool little ice dessert maker. It is not quite frozen, more of slushy-ish. Been trying on milk ( + sugar ), works better with yogurt ( more creamy structure ) Not quite rolled ice cream, but a chilled icy dessert. £10 is a more reasonable price for an "icy" plate.
