Q: Has anyone tested these on the orange Halfords ramps?

They don't work on any of my ramps. The brackets that hook onto the ramp aren't deep enough so I've had to pay someone to weld on longer brackets.

Q: Does the box come with two? Or do you have to order two?

The box comes with two. They are very strong and worth the money.

Q: can you tell me total width of extentions from inside edge to inside edge thanks

The product may have changed slightly: the outside width of the pair I have just received (12SEP18) is 21 cm. The width between the outside of the hooks is 13 cm. They fit very nicely onto a pair of ramps I bought many years ago, from Halfords, I think (what paint remains is grey, if that helps.) The inside width is not all that relevant: the long pieces of angle iron that form the main beams are the other way up from those on my ramps i.e. like an up-side-down capital L (so they don't help to keep the wheels on the extensions. The vertical part of the L is cut away at the ends to allow it sit down snugly onto the ramp.

Q: Will these take my vw t5, its 2 ton in total but obviously only front wheels going on

I should think they will be fine, I use these for Saab 9.3 and that’s over 2 tonne 17” wheels
