Can the neck holders be removed? I'm looking for something to hold guitar cases and the neck supports are too narrow for an acoustic case.

The neck holders can not be removed. They can be rotated to the back so they are out of the way. I use mine for a case and two guitars.

Can it hold smaller instruments such as ukuleles, fiddles?

I'm sorry to say that I don't think that ukuleles and fiddles would fit properly in this type of stand. I think that the body of the ukulele and fiddle would be to small to rest on the stand and actually sit on the floor instead. You may try contacting Hercules stands to see if they may offer something that would work for ukuleles and fiddles as I feel that the stand that I purchased from them is great for holding my guitars. Awesome guitar stands!!!

How long is the manufacturers warranty good for?

I do not know, but it is so simple that I do not think you have any worry about it breaking down. I really like this.

Is it compatible with nitro laquer finish ?

I’ve read feedback from others on the 5 stand models that claimed it marked their nitro finish guitars slightly. Pay close attention to the other ppl answering this question, they don’t seem to know/understand what a nitro finished guitar is. I just bought one of the stands and will come back and update. I have a nitro white finished strat that’s kinda rough/relic’d that I’ll try it out on first before I ever put my 56 CS Les Paul on.
