I've never used a Tagine before, but it cooked the food very quickly, great non stick properties, definately worth a space in your kitchen.

brilliant find. Not only excellent for making Tagine but also any items you use a pan for. easy to clean and works brilliantly on induction hob. Looks good enough to sit on top of the hob and has become a talking point.

I was in Harrods and about to buy a cast iron Le Creuset tagine for £550 when some sense entered my head and I looked for an alternative on Amazon. I ended up going with Amazon and was not disappointed. This is a large pot, you can cook 6 people. It’s light, so easy to carry (unlike the Le Creuset) and you can use this on the hob—including induction— and oven. It’s made of metal, I don’t know if it’s iron or not. But it’s solid but lightweight. We’ve had this for over 2 years now and used it countless times. It still looks new, no flaking or deterioration.

Overall very impressed. Surprised to find a separate glass lid included in the box. Two cloth storage bags included. All well packaged. Spare washer and screw provided for the tagine lid. Well designed with all condensation in tagine lid running back into the base. The small steam escape hole in the lid is a handy indicator of what is going on inside the tagine without having to raise the lid and lose moisture. I use on gas hob with heat diffuser (28cm) and the main cooking is usually done at the lowest gas setting for the burner but the diffuser ensures the heat is spread over all the base. There is a steel plate set into the base if the tagine. Light to handle but don't be fooled by the hand grips - they can get too hot to handle safely without an oven cloth. Extremely easy to clean by hand wash - lid and base. Non stick coating looks good and no problems so far but I do a fresh light season each time of use.
