It actually works!
It takes some practice, but once you get used to it, it's actually easy to use. I have severe arthritis, so messing with weights is not a good option. Due to it's size, small hands may have issues controlling it. Once you get it going, you are working against a gyroscopic torque, so you control the intensity by the amount of effort you apply. It still works after several months of use, so I would say the quality is good.

Too good to be true
I really wanted this to be the tool that helped me rebuild strength after my broken wrist. I wasn’t even using it every day, so I never imagined it would fall apart in just nine days. My physical therapist had shown me a similar style of exerciser, and when I found this one in an extra‑small size that actually fit my hands, I thought I’d lucked out. For the first week it worked smoothly and felt promising. Then on day nine, while simply trying to increase resistance, it snapped. No rough use, no over‑tightening — it just broke. I’m incredibly disappointed, especially because my wrists genuinely need reliable support right now.

Great gadget, pretty fun, does a nice gyro easily and winds easier than others
74yo female with mild hand arthritis and desire to increase hand strength> This was awesome for the great price of $14. It was easier to wind up than the other brand I bought for more, and it also wants to gyro much more easily so I can get it into the mojo pretty easily. Its fun for a hand and forearm workout. This one without the RPM counter is fine because I am more concerned about how long it goes in a smoothe gyro run than about anything else. I like the way the lights flash when I have it going right. It weighs slightly less than the other which is good.

A fun exercise tool that seems to actually work!
The ball itself is very high quality and sturdy. I found it a little tough to get going, but I found that "winding it up" by pulling it back quickly on a hard surface, like a wind-up toy car, would get it going well. It is amazing how much "burn" you feel in your hands and forearms. After a couple weeks of continuous use, I can feel my hands getting stronger for sure. The forearms are strengthening a little more slowly, but it seems like its working. It is far more entertaining that I would have imagined! You find yourself fidgeting with it for a while, and getting exercise at the same time. Definitely a good addition to any workout.

Works, but here is a tip
Just started using it, but I feel the difference after just a couple days. Pro Tip: After the second day of use, I couldn’t wind the internal wheel—it just spun freely. I returned it and ordered another one, but the replacement failed the very next day with the same issue: the internal wheel offered no resistance. Frustrated, I initiated a return and started looking at other brands, but they all seemed to come from the same manufacturer. After thinking about it for a bit, I realized it didn’t make sense that these would be so fragile and still be on the market. I took another look. I discovered that if I kept spinning the wheel in the direction of the arrow—as if winding it—after a minute or two it would eventually catch and begin winding the spring again. Once it did, the device worked normally. I now suspect that if you let the internal wheel “spin out” after use instead of stopping it with your finger, you may need to spin it for a while to re-engage the mechanism. I canceled the second return and will update if the issue comes back or can’t be resolved.

Regaining my grip
A couple of minutes a day and my wrists are feeling better. The built in starter is a nice feature. Every now and then it doesn't catch but a swear word or two seems to fix it. The one I had 40 years ago had a plastic ribbon that I had to keep track of and wind up on the rotor as a rip cord starter. This new method is much easier. The wrist loop is a nice feature too. It can get a little difficult to keep my grip on the ball after a workout and the strap gives me some peace of mind in case I drop it. I saw some reviewers mention that it was hard to start or wasn't working for them but this hasn't been the case for me; mine is working great. The motion is gentle and slow, like swirling an ice cube in a glass that you're holding from the top. As the rotor picks up speed I just have to grip the ball tighter and tighter, I don't have to spin it faster. That said, it did take a bit more practice with my non- dominant hand, but just a bit. Slow and easy. It's a nice way to relax with a light show as a bonus. Like a fidget spinner but with strength benefits. I'm loving mine.

Disappointed
Most of the time The wind up doesn’t work correctly, it just spins freely instead of winding up tension. When it does wind up, it works fine, and had zero issues getting it going the first try right handed ( dominant hand ). Left handed takes a little effort getting it going fast, but have only had it a few days, and only tried left hand twice. Within 2 minutes my forearm is burning, but that’s the point. I’m disappointed that the wind up mechanism doesn’t work correctly, and I thought it was supposed to change colors according to the speed, but it is multicolored the entire time it’s spinning.

I returned it. It didn't work for very long once activated; have to frequently re-activate. A stress ball might be adequate.

Recebi o produto no prazo estipulado pela Amazon. O produto é de excelente qualidade e funciona perfeitamente. Porém a embalagem é diferente e não veio case. Mas por ser bom resolvi aceitar mesmo assim para evitar aborrecimento..
