Before this ice cream scooper, I would use a regular spoon to scoop out ice cream that would constantly bend because of how hard the ice cream was. I tried using one of the ice cream scoopers with a spring, but the spring would constantly get stuck and I would have no way of using it/getting the ice cream out of the scooper after scooping. I saw this product recommended to me on an Instagram Reel discussing how these scoopers are easier to use due to the liquid inside retaining the heat emanating off the hand holding it, so I decided to purchase it. It's such a nifty gadget that I don't regret buying at all!

I ordered the 1010 (4 oz.) scoop for my husband for his birthday as he loves ice cream & saw that this was the best scoop according to America's Test Kitchen. I actually received the 1020 (2 oz ) scoop. 😒Thankfully, after my husband used it & was completely impressed, he was not at all concerned that I received the smaller size. (I went to the Zeroll website & was put a bit more at ease seeing that the two different sizes were priced the same.) In addition to receiving the incorrect size, the packaging was mangled as if it was carelessly prepped for shipment. Luckily the scoop survived its journey to our home where it will be put to a lot of good use. Amazon, I love you, but please take more care in fulfilling your orders!

I got tired of the type my wife bought which the scoop part is just a part of the handle and eventually breaks off. This one is made one solid length and in the USA to boot. The ice cream can be frozen like a rock and I still can scoop it out without it breaking.

After two ice cream scoops that have lasted me several years, I finally found the one to last me the rest of my life (hopefully).This scoop is the one a lot of ice cream parlors use. It uses the heat of your hand to warm up the scoop, which makes it easy to get a solid serving. The shape is perfect for using and cleaning is great because of the smooth surface.Honestly, I wish I had discovered this scoop sooner because I would’ve bought it once and done. Highly recommended.

Straight from freezer you can serve the ice cream easily. I do dip it in warm water for the 1st dip to warm it up.

Honestly didn't expect this to work at all. I had very low expectations since stuff like this seems impossible until you actually have it in hand. It worked very well and always use this now.

Good ice cream scoop

Likes:- Really does make it easier to scoop hard ice cream- easier to hold and lowers the amount of wrist strainDislikes:- can’t be cleaned in a dishwasher (minor issue frankly)- it’s hard to know which size to buy for small vs larger scoops. (My scoops are too big)

My old ice cream scooper was showing wear so I bought this one based on the other reviews. This is not as good as my previous scooper. It does not cut through the ice cream so it’s hard to make a ball. And then - it doesn’t do the one thing it supposedly was made to do - release the ice cream. It does a poor job of this even when I dip the scooper in water ahead of time. I would not recommend this.Unfortunately, I think it’s very durable so I won’t be able to ditch this thing and buy another scooper.

Works great, and made scooping ice cream easy.

It is a wonderful easy scoop as long as you rinse under tap and don’t put in the machine. I would use no other scoop and have thrown the rest away.
