Compact, reliable, and perfect for everyday use
I bought the Anker 621 Power Bank in November, and it’s quickly become something I carry with me every day. The size is one of the best features it’s small, lightweight, and fits easily in a pocket or small bag without adding bulk. Despite the compact design, it gives my phone a solid boost when I’m out and about and running low on battery. The build quality feels sturdy and well-made, which is what I’ve come to expect from Anker products. The connection is secure, and it starts charging immediately without any fuss. It’s especially useful for travel, busy days out, or times when I know I won’t have access to a plug.

Value for Money
Its as described in all the ways. Its really great, easy to carry in my pocket or bag. I personally use larger 10k powerbank however I purchased this to carry instead because of its small form factor so I can keep is as emergency charger. Its okay power and speed wise, not bad cant complain much about it but it could’ve been faster. I thinks its decently value for money, I do think it will come very handy in alot of situations especially since I’m a student and my phone battery loves dying out I love the fact it feels durable, I think its made put of metal which gives it slight weight and reassurance its made from high quality material.

Terrible Quality Control
When I purchased this power bank, it worked well for a short amount of time before randomly dying. It took no damage or drops, it just stopped outputting charge to any phone connected to it. It would receive power just fine, it just couldn't output any. I contacted Anker support about this and to their credit, they sent a second unit free of charge - but that one was dead on arrival. Same issue as the first one; I could charge the power bank just fine, but when connecting a phone to it, it wouldn't output any charge at all. But this one didn't die after a short time like the original one; it was like this when I first got it. So they sent out a third unit. This one was also dead on arrival. Exact same issue. Amazingly, they sent out a 4th unit despite me saying that it might be better to give up and just refund the original unit. This 4th one actually worked! For a few months. It has since died, having the exact same issue as the previous 3 units. This one lasted longer than the first one, but still - for 4 of 4 to have this same problem, something has to be seriously wrong with their quality control. I treated the devices with care - no drops, no bangs, no pressure put on it, no over charging. Credit where credit's due to the Anker support team as they were more than happy to send out unit after unit, but the product itself is just unacceptable.

Exactly what I needed!
Doesn't take long to charge the power bank (requires a USB-C cable to charge the power bank, despite the power bank being compatible with charging devices that require a lightning cable). Depending on if you're using your device while charging, the power bank sometimes runs out of charge quickly, but usually it's okay. It's easy to see how much charge is left (click the round button on the left side of the power bank and it will light up on the front - 4 lights being fully charged). It doesn't overheat, it's very handy as it's nice and small so great for using when out and about. Good value for money, especially as it's Anker (a well known tech brand).

Defective after 1 year but received a replacement
Purchased last year for £29.99 but after a year stop charging my phone completely though the power bank is fully charged. Could be the built-in lighting connector becomes defective . Nice design , small and cable-free and it’s Anker (trusted name) . Contacted the customer support team and after explaining the issue and providing evidence (photo , proof of purchase ) they sent a replacement. I have few Anker that are working perfectly for years and this issue does not turn me off . There’s 18 month warranty, and the customer support team is fantastic.

EXcellent product, very convenient
Bought one of these to replace Charmast version which died. It works perfectly - very convenient when slotted into the Lightning socket, and very easy to keep in a pocket when not. An extra couple of features over the Charmast - the Lightning connector folds down when not in use, so a sleeker design, and it stops charging (all the lights go off) when my iPhone is fully charged, so it doesn't try to overcharge. As the Lightning connecter is now obsolete now that Apple have adopted USB-C, I have bought a second one as a spare.

Good for travel and fast charge, but adaptor broke after a year
Great for travelling as it’s perfect size for a small bag and fits in your pocket nicely. Charges quick and no hassle, however, mine broke after a year’s use. Because the connector is very mobile and prone to jiggling a lot, the connector on mine unfortunately broke and not charging my phone anymore. One thing to remember when using this product especially if you use it a lot. It has that same issue with power cables wherein after how many months or years of use, the adaptor no longer works properly.

Nice product, works well.
Slightly bulkier than I was expecting but I guess that's due to my phone being an iPhone Mini; otherwise it works well and will come in handy if I ever have to spend another 10hrs waiting in the Emergency Dept. of our local main hospital.

I think this makes more sense than all the fancy magsafe battery packs. I do like magsafe, but I just don’t think it makes sense for a battery bank. Mainly because of efficiency. This battery is much much lighter and smaller than a power bank that would give your phone the same amount of charge. Thanks to not needing a coil, magnets, and especially thanks to the efficiency. Thanks to the latter, this one also gives you faster charging than even qi2 magsafe banks. Yes, the phone is more annoying to use while plugged in. No thanks to the connection being somewhat wonky. It is doable, but if you’re going to do that a lot, I wouldn’t get this. It’s also annoying that every time I plug my phone in, it starts charging, then stops for a second, and then starts again. Though after the second start, it’s working just fine. It‘s great for just having in your pocket and always having the possibility of a (reasonably) quick top up. Being able to charge the pack itself without an extra cable is a nice bonus (occasionally just putting it directly into the usb-c port of a charging brick is more practical).
