Professional review (contains jargon)
Cool puzzle. But... Not a fan of pillowed. Not a fan of stickerless, but I can see why they made it stickerless (because it's curved all around). It's really pillowed. It's difficult to align layers. Still don't like pillowed. Did over a hundred solves and I'm still not used to it. Edges look like centers because it's pillowed. It doesn't give you that contrast of cubie sizes that a non-pillowed shape mod would give you.

5x5 with extra twist
One of my favorite puzzle to do ... this is a 5x5 with a little extra twist ... but makes it so much more impressive for other people that see it .. you will know how to do your 5x5 more by knowing this puzzle

Rubik's cube equivalent
The pyramid is actually a Rubik's cube in disguise, the 5x5. The difference is that there are only four colors and of course, the shape. All the algorithms for solving Rubik's cube do work here, but it is harder to solve because it is harder to keep up with which of the parts are supposed to be edges or corners because of the colors and shapes being different. It turns smoothly, and so far has not fell apart. I ordered it for my son. He makes a short order of Rubik's cubes, and I am always on the quest to find him one which is not, and will be a true puzzle for him. Not this time, but it was still a worthy one. The comments about solving the cube were from him.

Standard cube, in disguise
I got the 5x5x5 version of this. And it took me a little time to sort out what it was. At first, I thought each layer could only be rotated 180 degrees at a time. A couple more minutes of playing around, and I realized that it's really 90 degrees at a time. So, it's really just a 5x5x5 cube in disguise. And the centers can have different orientations, so it's a 5x5x5 cube that requires a few extra moves to properly twist those centers. (And, truth be told: I'm no good at the standard 5x5x5, so this one is going to take me even longer to figure out.) The puzzle turns smoothly, but I find it frustrating to get the turns to line up correctly. Sometimes, I think I have everything properly aligned, and try to make a twist and...it won't budge. And so begins several seconds of trying to figure out which layer is out of alignment so that things turn correctly again. In case it matters to you: the image on Amazon's web page makes it look like one of the squares says "Willking" on it. My puzzle had no text or logo markings.

Sturdy and fun
This type of puzzle is really fun, and this variation is no exception. I have a similar 4-sided puzzle with fewer moving parts, that I’ve managed to solve several times, so I thought I’d try this harder one. I really like the study, smooth-turning, stickerless construction. It seems much better made than the old Rubik’s Cubes I played with as a kid.

Received mine pre-owned!
The cube itself I'm sure is fantastic, moves just fine, but I believe my cube was pre-owned! This is NOT what I bought. When I received the product, the box was scratched up and filthy. The cube was already jumbled up, and a piece was missing. Pretty disappointed.
