I bought this light because I have one of those textured wall art pieces, but it really just looked like I framed some dry wall from far away so I wanted a good light so you could actually see the texture and it definitely does that. It’s a bright light, you can also dim it if you want with the remote. We tried using command pad things to hang it at first but it fell the first night so we used the bracket. It was easy to install. The battery life isn’t great; we usually have it on for about 4 hours each night, by night 3 it starts to dim and needs to be charged. The charging cord is long enough that I don’t even need to take the light down, the cord reaches from the outlet up to the wall. I don’t find it annoying to have to charge it every 3 days, but I guess I could see how someone would find that inconvenient. I overall love the light, it looks great and adds light to the wall art. I recommend it!

I use this light to illuminate the art work on my walls. I chose the black version as it was going on a dark purple wall. You can also order brass It comes with two light options - cold white and warm white. The cold option was too harsh for all of my art. It might work better to illuminate black and white photographs. The warm light works beautifully to highlight the focal point in paintings, making them really stand out. My favorite part is the ability to adjust the angle of the light. This light replaced another light with a fixed position bulb that wasn't covered by the shade. As soon as I'm done with this review, I'm going to order two more in the brass version which will be nice on my gold walls. It's a good value for the money, ease of installation and charging.

This light was a disappointment. The battery life was short to begin with and continued to get worse as time went on. It never seemed to charge fully and lasted only a few hours. I went as far as ordering a replacement battery and it was no better. I ended up taking it down and throwing it away. I would definitely not purchase this item again.

While the look of these is very nice and accent a room nicely, the amount the light actually stays on is minimal. Fully charged you only get around 4 hours before it starts to dim. So I hardly ever turn them on knowing they’ll die and need charged. Charging is also not fast. So good for looks, not for light
