I am using this product to protect the cover of a resin 3d printer. The intended purpose of the film is to provide additional UV protection, to prevent any outside UV light from entering the print chamber. The 6" wide film made installation of the small pieces easy, especially on the inside of the cover. This is my first resin printer, so I have watched many, many videos on Things Gone Right and Things Gone Wrong. I have found that that protecting the cover makes the printer hold up much longer. The quality of the tape is good and makes for easy adhesion and removal. I compared much wider tape (24" wide) that is available in my local big box store, and I found that this product is much easier to handle and an overall better buy. Remember...this film is sticky, so attempting to cut it into smaller pieces can be difficult, the film likes to stick to itself. This roll is 200' long by 6", so I have plenty to last more than a few cover changes if I get any resin drops.

The advertising needs some rewrite ("Tiered of Scraping") but the product is sound. During construction of an airplane you need to protect the canopy. The ususal product is "Spray Lat", a liquid which dries to a thick gum. This is a shortcut - not quite as protective but fully adequate for shop dust and sanding grit. With luck I will have the product off inside of a year. The product stretches a little but I think the intended use is flat glass, not curves. My acrylic canopy has simple curves. I used the narrowest roll with a lot of overlaps. My application still has a lot of wrinkles and bubbles. Luckily the product sticks to itself almost as well as to the underlying surface.

I bought this as paint masking for the glass windows in doors, and it really isn’t very good for that as it tends to not seal up tight around the edges. I can’t really complain about the product though, it should be very effective if what you need is a protective layer on the glass. It goes on easy and comes off easy, the edges just tend to be a bit finicky.

Works great I use it to protect paintings with glass over them to ship.

It's not that sticky. I needed to use duct tape to secure it and to make it stronger I had to wrap it at least twice around the spot.

I purchased this protective window film because we had new windows installed as part of a remodel and I wanted them to be protected and remain clean throughout the rest of the construction process. The film was super easy to put up by myself and has stuck on great (as of 1/4/24, the film has been on the windows for over a month). I really appreciated that this product came with a utility knife for smooth cuts and easy installation! I will also be using this film to protect our newly installed bathtub tor protect it during construction as well! So many uses and a great product for the DIYer, I highly recommend!

We painted our house this summer, and found this film to be a great time saver. It was easy to apply, and didn't peel off the fresh paint nor damage the siding. It was also easy to remove. Extra bonus - when my husband had a severe leg injury and needed to be in a locking brace for months, we found the film was extremely easy to use to secure the ends of the plastic covering for the brace when he was showering! We cut it to the proper width to secure the top of the bag, and it stuck easily to his skin. It did not injure his skin when the film was removed.

Wouldn't stick to surfaces unless they were absolutely polished clean. Wouldn't even stick to the outside metal door when I tried it

Good product better than masking tape. Only issue was the knife provided was broken in multiple pieces.
