Worth Every Penny!
This unit is not noisy at all. I used it at the maximum speed too! It really moves the air. I was able to see it suck in the dust and dander I was disturbing with a blower, so that it wouldn't spread all over the room. It also is easy to move. The filter setup can't get any simpler and the 3-stage system makes total sense. This is not a toy but doesn't look too ugly. It looks like a large piece of luggage. It is keeping track of the hours I'm putting on it so as to alert me to the time I need to change the Hepa filter. No guesswork. I did vacuum the first filter to remove the heavier debris. That will help to get more longevity from it. I am very satisfied with its performance. I will be getting two smaller units to run in the bedrooms regularly that look more 'fashionable'. This machine was used to do a quick spring clean job for an older person who can't stretch up or no longer uses a ladder.

ALLERGY SUFFERERS, BUY THIS
ALLERGY SUFFERERS, BUY THIS. I have a few seasonal allergies, and for the past few years here in my area in the USA we have had constant bouts of "forest fire smoke" in the air, some from other USA states but also a lot coming down from Canada. I have tried the "20x20 furnace filter taped on the back of a window box fan" trick and it helped very minimally (the problem is due to the restriction of the filter the fan pulls air "back in through the corners of the front", and also the fan motor doesn't have enough power to pull air through a tighter HEPA filter element to begin with. I also tried the Lasco brand fan with a built in "filter holder" and slightly more powerful motor. It suffered from the "pull air back in from the front corners and not get filtered" problem. I bought a drum-type HEPA filter years ago which had no pre-filter element, and after only a few weeks it plugged up, requiring filter replacement, then I discovered the proprietary filter drums were $200 (!!!!!!) and that was it for that unit. Then I found THESE TYPES OF UNITS. This Vevor unit is a copy of other MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE NAME BRAND UNITS, but I have purchased other Vevor items and they are always of pretty decent reliable quality. So it boiled down to paying $300 for the Vevor or $600 for a name brand unit, and the Vevor won. I have been using it at medium to high speed for about a week in my bedroom when I am asleep and the difference in my sinuses, reduction of congestion, headaches and lung irritation is dramatic. The MERV 10 prefilter is already fairly tight for catching dust and other particles, and the HEPA 13 final filter is very effective at pulling out allergens and smoke and has given me MUCH APPRECIATED RELIEF. The charcoal middle filter is excellent at pulling out odors, mold-gasses and solvent fumes like from paint or cleaners. The highest level allergen filters I've seen are HEPA 16 but that's so tight you'd have to have an extremely powerful motor to pull air through them, a more specialized kind of thing like in a laboratory or manufacturing situation. I ALSO LIKE that this Vevor had a MUCH BIGGER AIR INLET, and although the lid of the unit is elevated above the full size of the prefilter, I though that with a smaller inlet, most of the air is going to get pulled through the smaller exposed area and get plugged up first, so the bigger air inlet made A LOT OF SENSE in getting longer life out of your prefilters. HINT....Make sure when you get the unit, OPEN IT UP by undoing all the little latches, take the lid off, TAKE ALL 3 FILTERS OUT AND TAKE THE PLASTIC WRAPPING OFF OF THEM then put it back together, IT'S EASY. Don't just try to plug it in and turn it on, it won't be able to flow air and will likely burn your motor out because of the resistance. The filters come with plastic wrap on them inside the unit, most importantly so the charcoal filter isn't exposed to air in storage which would "deplete" its' ability to absorb odors. Understand THIS UNIT IS BIG, as big as a large travel suitcase. But the grey color makes it so you could put it in the corner of a room and it would look just fine, at least compared to the "fluorescent orange / blue / yellow / red" colors the name brand industrial units are usually offered in.

So far so good. After 100 hours still going strong.
I did some research on air scrubbers and decided to go with this one. Powerful, quiet, and it does the job perfectly. I use it with my UV flatbed printer to catch fumes from the printer. I bought the smaller unit but it’s still kinda big. No regrets, very easy to use. Can’t say much about longevity yet since I only have about 100 hours on it, but so far it’s working perfectly. Better price than competitors. I’ve never been disappointed with Vevor.

Rugged and solid
This arrived and I promptly set it up. I hooked up a 25 foot, ’8” flexible duct to it. Seems to be doing a fantastic job. Solidly constructed, came with filters too. Will update with how it goes with the drywall dust.

Decent air scrubber
This air scrubber is priced much better than competitors. That's definitely the primary reason to choose this one over others. It can be noisy at max speed but not unreasonably so especially given the decently strong air flow. It's fairly large, but the size is standard for air scrubbers. It's done a good job of removing dust and smells in my somewhat musty basement, so the filtration seems to be working as expected. I love that it uses a standard-sized pre-filter. My main concern with the unit is that I think they are using a cheap variable speed controller, which means this unit may not last very long. The fan (unless set to maximum speed) constantly ramps up and down and does not stay at a consistent speed. It might actually be better for its lifespan to run this on max speed all the time just because of how inadequate the variable speed controller seems to be. The variable speed knob also doesn't have a real "off" setting. It does not click when set to "off" and the unit remains powered with the timer still running even with the fan not spinning. This is annoying but not a big deal. The glossy black outlet on the top of the unit had many scratches when I received it. Part of the foam seal for the front plate was also compressed in a way to where it might not seal that well. I'm not sure if these are from the factory, but the serial number sticker (which is also peeling) indicates this was manufactured only a couple months ago, so I think this is just how it was made. Keep your expectations realistic and I think you'll be satisfied with this.

Great filtration option
I have run mine nonstop for 6 months in my basement just to ensure the basement air stays dust free and circulated. It’s been flawless.

Better because
The filters are generic 16x16x1 and much cheaper and easier to get then others special size at 2-3 times the cost
