WC PadZ XM5 - Premium Replacement Earpads Compatible with Sony WH-1000XM5

Just to start out: These replacement pads made me actually like my headphones! So I had the previous sony model and wanted to upgrade from the 4 to the 5. I got them and was so disappointed and uncomfortable wearing them. My ears hurt, they didn't sit on my head properly (etc) I had replaced my old pairs ear pads with WC 90's black. So nice and comfy so I figured what's the worst that could happen? Ordered it for the new headphones and NOW? I couldn't be happier! My ears do NOT hurt thanks to the added thickness of the cushion, they sit very comfortable on my head now and I had no issue with install. I've gone from I can maybe wear them 30 min to I can wear them for hours! They send you a card that you can scan to get the instructions or you can look on their website. Fool proof L & R tabs on each cover makes it so simple to make sure you get the noise cancelation that makes these headphones 🎶sing🎶 to say the least: They fit, work and I couldn't be more pleased I have seen the other reviewers that don't like this product but truly try them yourself. I would personally say these are high quality and i was never worried i was going to damage them or my headphones during the install. "Hey it's Amazon. Worst case you send them back right?" So much Praise for this company! Thank you WC for helping me not feel like I wasted so much money on headphones!

After a year of using my XM5's for consistent video editing use the OEM earpad cushioning basically collapsed. I ordered the cooler design because I wanted something different for the look. Installation was simple after watching the video, WATCH THE VIDEO BEFORE YOUR INSTALL. 1. These earpads are thicker than the OEM pads, my ears no longer touch the inner lining. They are also made with a denser foam than the OEM pads so they will feel a bit stiff initially, hopeful they will loosen up overtime. 2. Once I put on my XM5's after installing them, the first noticeable feeling before turning on the headphones is the higher level of isolation, it reminds me of my studio headphones with deeper earpads installed. 3. When turned on, ANC to my ears feels like it is working at a whole new level, Transparency Mode works as normal but there is much less outside noise bleed when compared to the OEM earpads. Highly recommended and I hope the design on these earpads don't fade, they look so damn cool!

I've had these about a year or so and they are still firm and soft. They click into the headphones and feel like an OEM part. Installation takes a bit of time but if you take it slow you will have these suckers fit correctly and feel fantastic. They do form to your head over time but this is for the better they also get a little hot after prolonged use but so did the old ear ups. Look awesome. And the noise cancelling is about the same or better with these on.

Once you get these installed correctly, they're amazing! You do have to be careful installing them though (which is Sony's headphones themselves, not these specific cushions). I originally thought that mine were on tight, and was disappointed by how much noise they let in from my surroundings. Turns out, they weren't—they were upside down which prevented them from fully snapping into place. Once I fixed that, they're as good for ANC as the original cushions. Really great buy!

I use a Sony WH-1000XM5 headset every day for work and then after work for gaming. Probably for about 5-6 hours a day, sometimes more. This is the second set of these headphone cushions I've purchased. Just swapped them out to replace the old ones, and the difference is night and day! Noise cancelling works again. The instructions are clear and easy to get to, with a well put together video. Replacement is easy. The last set of these I purchased lasted through 3 years of travel and extreme use, and were still comfortable, but it was time to get another pair. 100% recommend!

I can't deny these earpads are more comfortable than the OEM earpads, and are well made, but they have a very noticeable negative impact on both the noise cancellation and sound quality of the headphones.

These are good replacements of the ear pads for comfort. They are thicker than the OEM pads which provides more space between the ear and the inner fabric and are super comfortable. They are easy to install and the instructions are very user friendly. However, the ANC does take a massive hit with these earpads. If you use the headphones in ambient sound mode, they still sound great but these earpads do not do a good job of isolating outside noise even with ANC on. If you want to maintain the ANC, I recommend getting the OEM pads vs these.

I got these as an alternative to the stock ear pads that come with Sony WH1000-XM5 because the originals caused a skin reaction. They were easy to replace because of their clear instructions. They were actually more comfortable. Sadly, they are made of the same material. I reached out to the company, they were understanding and gave me a refund. If they start using other material that is not Soft PU Leather, I will definitely buy them.

J’ai commandé ces coussinets pour donner une seconde vie à mon Sony WH-1000XM5, dont les coussinets d’origine commençaient à montrer des signes d’usure. Et franchement, je suis agréablement surpris. Le remplacement est assez simple et, une fois installés, ils donnent vraiment l’impression d’avoir retrouvé un casque neuf. Le confort est excellent, avec une bonne épaisseur et un contact agréable autour des oreilles. Le gros point positif pour moi est qu’ils semblent même meilleurs que les coussinets d’origine. Ils offrent un bon maintien, restent confortables sur de longues sessions et donnent une sensation de qualité tout à fait à la hauteur du XM5. C’est donc une excellente solution pour éviter de remplacer un casque qui fonctionne encore parfaitement. Pour le prix, je trouve que c’est une façon simple et efficace de prolonger sa durée de vie. Après plusieurs mois utilisations, je suis pleinement satisfait de cet achat et je les recommande sans hésiter aux possesseurs de WH-1000XM5 dont les coussinets commencent à fatiguer.

Much better than expected. Ear feel is nice, bit stiffer than stock pads. The extra space helps allot. ANC still works more then good enough. Doesn't change the sound profile too much. I hope they include measurements in audio response, like dekoni do in the future. That would be really helpful for those of us that have a eq for stock pads. That way i don't have to adjust it by ear.

These are great! Such a huge difference from the original earpads. I wear my headphones most of the day and was always feeling like they was slipping and constantly having to reposition them. I've had these on for most of the day now and forgot they was on! Only downside is there is no pink colour! 😅 but the cream doesn't look so bad with my pink headphones. Definitely worth the money and so easy to swap out.
