I noticed the listing was missing the specs of the yoyo so I added those to my photo if your interested. The ano is beautiful on this yoyo. I think this might be my favorite colorway they have put out. As far as playability it plays excellent. The rims are fairly large compared to some of their other yoyos. It feels very comfortable in the hand. Its not as wide as some of these newer models so it has more of a classic feel. However it's just as stable as some of my wider yoyos. Its also dead smooth. One thing I like is they have a cutout along the inside of the rims. This is perfect for thumb grinds and some other rim tricks. It does have a fingerspin dimple in the middle but it is quite difficult to get into. For example the new V13 they just released you can hit anywhere in the hub and it will slide to the middle. But with this you have to hit the center perfectly as the center fingerspin part is raised. This can be quite difficult for beginners. If your new to yoyos and just learning how to fingerspin then I would suggest getting the V13 first. But if you do land it in the center it locks in and spins for a long time. If you have been wanting to try out 3A yoyoing I feel like these would be perfect for that. The 43mm width and 66g weight seem just about right for that style of play. It comes with everything you need to get started if you are new. Including responsive and unresponsive bearings. It came with the responsive bearing on. If you switch to unresponsive just be sure to switch out to the longer axle. And remember you don't want to ever over tighten a yoyo. It just needs to be snug. Overall very happy with how the V8s turned out and for the price it's hard to beat.

This is a very comfortable yoyo and great for beginners. Well, it might be good for advanced throwers, but we're all beginners here and it's good for us. I got this for my wife to see if she'd want to learn any tricks, and she loves it. It's well balanced and doesn't vibrate, and sleeps for a long time thanks to the metal body. I've played around with it, and it's super comfortable to catch too. All the additions are great, really like the responsive and unresponsive bearings and axles, plus my wife liked that the case has purple around the zipper part (her fav color). The only reason I knocked off a star was because they advertise the finger dimple for finger spin tricks, but the raised section around the dimple pretty much says NO DNA FOR YOU if you miss the dimple. It just blocks your finger from sitting in the dimple if you're outside it.

This metal yoyo is fun, colorful, and a great gift for a 10yo who already knows how to use a basic yoyo and feels like this is a step-up and more "professional." There are parts and tools included to switch the yoyo to unresponsive play but out of the box it is responsive. The colors are fun and vibrant, seems very high quality. It sleeps well and is easy to play with for beginners. Great gift and well-liked.

Honest reviews for regular people! First impressions: The MAGICYOYO V8S Yoyo gives a "joker" style effect in anodized aluminum green/black coloring. The yoyo feels great in your hand with, cool to the touch, smooth metal and would fit most small to medium sized hands comfortably. Comes with zippered case and accessories with plenty of string colors to pick from! I used the unresponsive bearing and the yoyo reacts as expected. Great for long tricks that require lots of spin! Well balanced unit. Pros: - Yoyo balance is engineered perfectly even for off axis and horizontal type tricks, it seems to hold its spin well, using the unresponsive bearing included. The stall can last for an excessively long time if you don't recoil the string which is excellent! - Having a dual mode yoyo allows for more advanced tricks which require the bearing to free spin more easily but also providing a novice user the benefit of learning and building skill without having to buy a new advanced yoyo. Having both responsive and unresponsive bearings means you have more flexibility, as you learn and advance, without having to buy new parts or Yoyo's. - The iconic professional metal Yoyo's will always give the feeling of quality and appear super cool to anyone who watches you perform. They sound cool spinning in the air, touching surfaces and tend to hold up longer than plastic versions. Keeping their spin balance for longer even with some dings and scrapes over time, the MAGICYOYO V8s has this same effect and should last through most situations. Cons: - The soft zippered case feels thin in material and is awkward holding accessories inside due to how the pocket overlaps the edges of the yoyo inside. Most times opening the case I had found items falling onto the table because they didnt stay where I put them during storage. The manufacturers appear to be using a different case style for other Yoyo's so maybe this was the reason for the design change. - This MAGICYOYO V8S case does not include the blue finger protector fabric that comes in other versions of the brand. This is likely due to the accessories pocket design not allowing the room for additional items. I don't use this item typically so its a non-issue but some might find it useful, so it would be nice to include. Final thoughts: The MAGICYOYO V8s Metal professional Yoyo in anodized green and purple is totally awesome. Highly recommended! I have nothing but appreciation for the balance and feel of this metal yoyo using both responsive and unresponsive bearings and so far I've only broken 1 string (I'm pretty hard on string!) which means the string wear from rubbing and binding is minimal. My son loves trying it out as well but, still needs to grow some so the yoyo doesn't hit the floor unintentionally! Great product from a long time company for an affordable price!

This is an awesome yo-yo. I was able to do a few basic tricks with it almost immediately after I put the string on. It comes in a really nice little carrying case, with a bunch of extra strings and two different sized axles and bearings (plus the necessary tools) for different types of action and responsiveness. I got it thinking my nephew might like to play with it when he visits, but after using it for a couple weeks I'm starting to think I might keep it for myself! I'd forgotten how much fun a really high quality yo-yo can be...and this one is most definitely very high quality. The weight and balance are perfect and the strings are really well-made too. The different axles and bearings completely change the action and responsiveness of the yo-yo, so you can choose between having a yo-yo that comes right back up every time or having one that you can easily make "sleep" and spin when it reaches the end of the string. The different set-ups (along with the included instruction booklet) make it super-easy to learn and perform all of the basic trick and, with practice, the more advanced tricks as well. I think this yo-yo would make a great gift for kids, but also for many adults. It helps to improve and maintain hand-eye coordination and it makes an excellent fidget toy, but this is also the type of high-end yo-yo that a serious, competitive level yo-yo enthusiast might like. It's professional level quality for sure and it's a ton of fun to play with and try to master. I'd definitely recommend it.

As someone with a lot of experience in yoyo's both traditional style and string trick yoyo's like this one, I was looking forward to trying MagicYoyo's new beginner and expert level yoyo, the Trickseeker. The yoyo comes in an attractive box and a big bonus is the carrying case for your yoyo and some strings and extras. This is an amazing addition to any yoyo purchase and usually costs quite a bit just for a case like this. The yoyo is perfectly finished and balanced to perfection. The included extra axle and U-shaped bearing for pro level or more advanced users is an excellent addition to any yoyo and makes this respond like a professional level product. I highly recommend the following process to break in the bearing and ensure smooth operation in both beginner and advanced configurations. 1. Disassemble yoyo (unscrew both halves) 2. Use the tool provided to remove the bearing 3. With the bearing on the tool, spray with rubbing alcohol or lighter fluid and spin the bearing to clean it 4. While spinning the bearing, blow on it to dry all the cleaning fluid 5. Lubricate the bearing with light silicone oil, 3in1 oil or a gun lubricant like FP10 (best lube for bearings) 6. Reassemble the yoyo and throw the yoyo and let it spin for at least 30 seconds each throw. Do this for about 10 minutes or until the yoyo begins to spin smoothly and without any noticeable vibration. This is extremely important for all yoyo's with a bearing to ensure smooth and vibration free spinning. Vibration will kill the momentum of the yoyo and makes tricks much harder. Remember, if you are a beginner, it may be difficult to throw smoothly at first. Keep trying and make sure you are relaxed when throwing the yoyo. I highly recommend the Trickseeker yoyo for either beginners or those ready for more advanced yoyo playing.
