Works great!
I bought this to upgrade my custom rig from an ASRock Intel 8th gen motherboard. This board works great out of the box. Installed the board along with an Intel I3-12100. I transferred the 16GB RAM and GTX 1650 from the old motherboard and installed Windows 11 without issues. I ran the fan tweak in BIOS and put the fans into "Silent" mode. Board runs great and is rock solid. I do not overlock so I can't say if it does that well or not. ASUS quality is always solid.

nice little workhorse to host an i9 cpu
I had a spare 14th gen i9 processor and needed a small cheap worker machine to host it. This worked out of the box and I also see that asus put out a bios update to address the i9 voltage issues. Ubuntu Server installed without issue, no driver problems. Unlike their high end ROG motherboards, this little guy doesn't have heat sinks everywhere so there was plenty of room to install a big CPU cooling unit.

A Solid Board!
I needed a full-sized board for my build and this one was perfect. Easy enough for a noob to install yet still has some great features for a knowledgeable someone to tweak around with. Worked as it should right out of the box, burn-in test completed successfully with no errors.

I got a returned merchandise
I bought two of this back in April, 2026. I was able to use one of this in April. However, I didn't use the second one until now (September 2026). As I assembled the computer, I saw CPU paste was around the CPU slot and started to worry about if it is a returned motherboard. As I finished assembled it, turned it on and nothing happened. Then I finally figured out it has a one bad DIMM slot. I think Amazon was selling a customer returned defective motherboard. Since it is now in September, I can't return the item anymore. I wished Amazon would double check on returned item and check for defect.

I installed this motherboard with a 13th gen i5 and its been working great out the box. I've never had trouble with ASUS boards.

I have since installed windows 11 ; nice to have windows 11, on a fast motherboard.
On my original submission , I had problems updating the bios, and when I did finally get it in, the file I downloaded from microsoft wouldn’t install. Then after spending a few hours with an Asus tech, I found that there were no instructions revealing that the media file had to be unzipped prior to plugging the usb into the computer. All it would take , is larger font in the manual , more explicit instructions to reduce consumer time to get it running!1!
