Splash Proof Venier Caliper

Early days, but this product is sturdy and is working well. The display is clear and bright. The battery is 3v which may give the display longer life than some other vernier calipers that use very small batteries. Measurement increments are sensitive, and so far, accurate. Better quality than the one I bought on the high street many years ago.

Delivery on time and undamaged. Item as described as per pictures. Comes in plastic storage box and ready to go, with two additional batteries. Less expensive than some of the premium brands but so far found this a dawdle to use with a clear digital readout. Seems to be accurate when tried with known measurements. Solid feel and smooth movement = better quality than the looks would suggest. Good value - recommended.

This is well made with metal construction of the jaws and slide and taking commodity easy to find cr2032 batteries They give you 3 batteries with 1 installed which will arrive dead but the other 2 batteries have life It seems accurate for diy uses and measuring against various rulers etc the digital display seems accurate. The display is good size and the smaller font for decimal part is good to avoid misreading The supplied case is cheap and nasty and the clasps don’t close / secure properly and look like will break off. For diy home usage probably not so much to worry about First use was gritty so before using it I’d recommend cleaning down with alcohol and then add some silicone lubricant (add to tissue and wipe across). Without this step the scroll/jog wheel is pretty ineffective

Feels good quality, better than simiarly priced calipers I've bought before. The display is good, like the mm/inch and inch fractions units. Like the buttons, bit bigger than my previous calipers and better positions on the housing. The only problem I see with this is the large plastic window might easily get broken.

Overall, a very good buy. I have a couple of digital calipers. A plastic one from Aldi or similar - pretty nasty. A cheap metal one, also built to a price and the battery is always dead unless you remember to take it out before putting it away. I liked the look of these oversized displays and they really are good. The build quality is good, bit not 'Mitotoyu' at this price. The only negative, which it barely deserves at this low price, is that it is a bit heavy in the hand and can feel rather like a heavy spanner rather than a precision tool. Like me, you probably get one of these calipers out once a month to take a measurement off something, then put it away. If so, this is great. It is accurate, the display is just incredible - very clear and bright - and the unit correctly zeros when closed, suggesting that there is virtually no play in the system. Bargain. If you use a caliper all day, spend the money and buy a beautifully balanced Mitotoyu from Japan. It will be over £100 or fake. Otherwise, you could do a lot worse than this tool.

I order a lot of mundane crap from Amazon and a fair amount you know what to expect, this set of verniers though have surprised me, they are a nice weight and feel really nice in the hand. Value for money wise they are definitely worth the price tag maybe should be a little dearer. I very rarely write a review but I feel the need to let others know they won’t regret buying them. Hope this helps someone who’s trying to make the decision as there are a lot of different ones for sale on Amazon.

For the price I wasn’t expecting anything anywhere Starrett or Mitutoyo quality, but I would expect something to actually be usable! The slide is a very loose fit, you can get almost 1mm of play at the end of the jaws. The reading isn’t stable most of the time. It doesn’t reliably return to zero, and the measurement randomly jumps several mm…

These are really good quality callipers. They feel well made and the screen is really easy to see. Also you get a battery already in the battery tray and you get an additional two batteries. It’s definitely an upgrade from my previous ones. Also the design of the handle makes it easy to move and lock into place

I always used cheap calipers that cost 15-20 euros and all had the same problems: they don't return to zero, so you have to zero it every time you take a measurement, they eat up the battery very quickly and they die after one year or so. I wanted something better and I came across the Kynup that had good reviews and I liked the large display. When I received it and opened the box I was pleasantly surprised - this calipers is heavy and build very well. It uses CR2032 batteries, so it should last for a long time. The machining on the jaws are perfect and you can't see any light shines through the Jaws when they are closed. The micro adjust wheel is very stiff and allow very small changes, unlike the cheap ones. The display is large and clear and has 1/100 of a millimeter resolution, and best of all - it always return to zero!

Je suis en général assez critique sur le matériel... mais quand c'est bien, faut le dire également. Beau pied à coulisse de bonne facture, l'écran est de grande taille bien lisible. J'aime également le bloc coulissant métallique ainsi que les que les boutons, ça fait presque chic de nos jours. on sent que l'on a un produit sérieux dans la main et les boutons sont bien placés. Pour contrôler le matériel, j'ai testé deux piges pour palmer, une de 25.00 mm et un de 50.00 mm C'est pas suffisant d'être beau il faut qu'il soit juste et c'est parfait je tombe au centième à .00 mm d'écart sur les deux pige et il fait 21°C Génial ! C'est livré avec deux piles supplémentaires et une dans le pied à coulisse, il y a une sorte de médiator en plastique à insérer dans la fente pour faire coulisser le tiroir de la pile. Bref, il coche toute les cases, j'hésitais à acheter un Mi...yo, je pense avoir été bien inspiré d'avoir choisi celui là ! Comparé à un modèle qui coute la moitié de son prix, c'est le jour et la nuit, il mérite cette différence.

Digital caliper is great, feels sturdy and high quality, nice buttons. The large display is easily read and accuracy is good. One let down is the case, since the caliper has a bit of wiggle room in it and the powerbutton is on the side it turns itself on while transported in the case.

Item is as advertised. The all-metal caliper is very well constructed and robust. The LCD readout is large and easy to read. I find that the accuracy is excellent and the rolling wheel has a very smooth feel. The resolution is definitive and stable, not jittery or indecisive. It comes with a nice plastic protective case and two button cell batteries. This is one of the better digital micrometers that I have used. Excellent.

Fazit: Präzision, Qualität und Komfort zu einem sehr fairen Preis – klare Kaufempfehlung für Hobby und Profi!
