No directions, had to YouTube how to assemble. The outer shell of the soft box is made of a nice sturdy fabric but the two layers of diffusion could be better. The flashmount has a nice sturdy hold but it is made of a few cheap plastic pieces I can foresee replacing.

Took a while to assemble. Ended up watching on YouTube on how to put it together. Other than than this is a must have. Works great.

I was hoping this was a little more "portable". No instructions in how or best way to put it together. Went on YouTube and found a guy that showed how to. It's not something I would tear down and move to different locations. It's a little difficult to put together and afraid it might rip after several times. But, yes I'm planning on buying another one. I do like it.

Didn't realize it came with both parts when I ordered - so you don't have to buy the diffuser separate from the speedlite holder. Great price for both! If I was shooting portraits I'd still use some kind of reflector to bounce light back on the subject, but overall the double diffusion setup looks really good! Setup is pretty simple if you're used to these big octoboxes. The outer diffusion stays in place nicely - you don't need velco to keep it there - but you could surely add some if you wanted to. Would def recommend!

I found the soft box very hard to assemble. NO INSTRUCTIONS!!! The metal circular ring has more holes than there are rods. I got off one hole and the rest did not align. It was fine after way to many minutes of frustrating assembly time. First photographs were good, so functionally it seems to be a good product. I realize that this is a cheaper model, I should have purchased the more expensive one that pops open for easy set-up.

Rinde muy bien en retrato, pero al ensamblarlo fue el problema que dure 30 minutos. Lo recomendable es que una vez que lo arme, lo deje asi mismo ya que pueder perder tiempo en una sesión.

The softbox itself seems to be good quality, and if we could have tested it, I'm willing to bet it works as advertised. However, the one we were sent is missing the mounting bracket for the fast light and is therefore totally useless. In addition, you need an engineering degree to put the thing together, so plan to spend some time setting it up if you're taking it to a location shoot. That's assuming the one you get has all the necessary components. I reached out to Neewer about the missing piece, and have yet to receive a response. I will update my review when/if I ever hear back from them, but we will be returning it if that isn't before the return window closes.

The fact that I can use this with both my speedlight or my strobe, makes it a huge plus. The portability is great, as it folds and stows very easily. For the price, it's great!

Probabilmente il miglior octobox di sempre al prezzo migliore sul mercato. Il montaggio è un po' macchinoso ma non complicato e anch'io come altri lo sto tenendo aperto, non lo smonto più insomma e anche per il trasporto, se in macchina, non è poi cosi ingombrante. Certo non è indicato per serate in discoteca (con molte persone accalcate) o se fate shooting all'aperto raggiungendo le location a piedi o in bicicletta! ma per tutte le altre occasioni è il miglior compromesso tra dimensioni e trasportabilità. I materiali sono ottimi, resistenti e la fodera esterna mi pare anche impermeabile. La staffa di supporto per speedlite è molto solida con parti in metallo e plastiche decisamente resistenti e l'aggancio col flash gommoso per una presa migliore. E poi che dire dell'attacco Bowens? Ci si possono montare anche le torce flash da studio...TOP!

Muy buena calidad, es perfecto si te tienes que montar el estudio en casa, eso si, una vez montas mejor no desmontarlo para guárdalo, es fácil su montaje pero lleva su tiempo y más él desmontarlo.

Montage super simple, en 10 minutes, malgré le manque de manuel ! Très satisfaite du produit, il paraît résistant (tissus solide et accroches pour les baleines bien cousues). Les tissus de diffusion intérieur et extérieurs sont peut être de moins bonne qualité et rendent moins justice au produit. Il me reste à tester leur qualité de diffusion. Le revêtement argenté semble pour sa part très solide. Aucun problème de poids sur mon très humble pied de studio. Vraiment très contente pour le prix. Gros atout : le speedring dans le dos de l'octabox, contrairement aux autres modèles Neewer dans les mêmes prix. Cela permet une grande possibilité d'angles/orientation.

I used this for shooting a wedding and it was great, easy to move and lightweight, it's a bit of a pain to put together but once you have it up it's a great addition to your lighting set up. Excellent quality and well worth the money I'll be getting another one before long!
