My First Wonder Woman Book: Touch and Feel

Its Wonder Woman....so it wins ALL the prizes. As a touch and feel book its not the greatest.... "you must never touch a monster" and the "Thats not my ....." series are better for that aspect. But this is Wonder Woman. And there is a mirror at the back so my daughter sees herself as Wonder Woman.

My 2 year old son also has the Batman and Superman books in this series and enjoys them very much. I have found these to be a great introduction into the world of superheroes. This book is as good as the others, very pleased.

Lovely book, perfect for my little girl

Fun book for baby, solidly made, with the usual shiny touchy feel interactive pages, and a solid introduction to the worlds most famous super hero princess.

If you love Wonder Woman you'll love this book! Great for little ones because they are cardboard pages, no sharp corners and nothing scary.

Very simple, but baby loves it.

This is the second Wonder Woman book we got for our toddler. We also got Wonder Woman: The Story of an Amazon Princess and at the same time someone gave my daughter Superheroes: Opposites, another hero-themed board book with multiple DC universe heroes. (It was my kid's birthday.) Looking at all of these, this is the book to get for your kiddo who likes Wonder Woman! My kid won't even look at the other two mentioned. (The opposites book is way too boring and simplistic, even for a toddler. And the Amazon princess story is too dense and doesn't really have cohesion. My daughter just looses interest because it's more historical/origin than an action story.) It has engaging pictures and a story that is easy to understand. My three-year-old also likes to touch all the different textures (shiny boots, lasso). It could have more touch stuff, but it's fine in that department. The winning part of this is the mirror at the end which shows a reflection of the kid and says they can be heroes. I agree with other reviewers that this book could be better in some ways, but just in comparing it to other Wonder Woman board books (or hero books with WW in them), this one is the one my kid asks to read. The other ones are buried or under the bed. I think she actually hid one of them because she dislikes it that much! My advice is this: Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. We need more strong female protagonists in kid's books! This is not the best pro-girl book for toddlers, but it sure as hell beats another boring princess book about nothing interesting at all.

My five year old niece LOVED the book along with My First Book of Girl Power. So happy she's into Wonder Woman just as I did and still do! We need more heroines out there. Too much of Batman and the like.

Unfortunately, the publisher is not printing any more of these despite continuing the series. This one came in great shape. Some edge wear but no more than expected common shelf wear. I think this series is fun an adorable for superhero fans of all ages!
