I got this as a gift for somebody who is training for a marathon. It helps you stay on track and guides you through the training process. Really good way to record your progress!

I absolutely LOVE this diary
I absolutely LOVE this diary. As a writing in a diary 'geek' anyway, this is perfect. I would have liked a space for speed i.e mins per mile and stride rate but I've adapted the 'weekly total' space for this, also it would have been good to have space for foods eaten the evening before the morning run etc...but I have squeezed this in too. All in all a great book with some lovely inspiring quotes in there too.

Convenient as undated pages, annoying recording space is taken up with " cross training "
It is very convenient from the point of view that the pages are undated which means the diary can be started at any point in the year ( also as I couldn't run for 2 months I was able to just " pause" entries and start at the next blank page when I got back ). There is a portion each day to record " cross training " exercise which for a running diary is irritating and I have to score it out a write across 2 boxes. Maybe I'm missing something as to why a running diary would have thus.

GREAT for runners!
Bought this as a present for my sister who is an avid runner in marathons and challenges like 3 Peaks. The book is a great quality book with lots of different sections to log training. She was really excited about it and said it would be just PERFECT for her training. A great gift.
