Not plug and go.
Like the mirrors, mostly work great only two things that are not plug and go. The backup and clearance light are going to have to be hard wired , otherwise nice mirrors.

stopped folding after 2 months and again after 1 year, made from cheap parts
I loved this mirror set when I got it a year ago. It wasn't the same quality plastic as the OEM mirror but it was half the price so I decided to try it. I had it for 2 months and one of the mirrors stopped folding in. I called support and they sent out another one no charge. After another hour to change them out i was happy to have it working again. I fold it about 5 - 6 times a week to get to my mailbox, drive in bank teller and food places. Well after a year of using it, the passenger side stopped folding in. It may have been pushed by someone in a parking lot. It is just 1 month out of warranty. I emailed support at A1 Auto where it came from and they said to take it to a repair shop. I asked if I could fold it in manually to realign it. They said it would strip the gears. What good is a mirror if it breaks that easily. I was told to take it to a repair shop. So for another $250.00 I can have them take it apart and see if it's repairable. But there are no parts available anywhere so that would be a waste of time. So they suggest I get another one. I wouldn't waste my money on a cheap China made mirror again that wasn't worth any where close to $50 let alone the $655.00 I paid for it. So I need to get a GMC OEM mirror set for 1,600.00 and install it now. I should have known " if it's too good to be true it probably is ". Don't waste your money on Trail Ridge brand parts. Buy USA.

Poor Customer service Great Mirror
I purchased the tow mirrors Part #:1AMRP01786, after installing them the drivers mirror was popping the fuse for the same side running lights. I called 1A for support and was told that I had purchased the incorrect mirror and that the "mirror warranty was now null and void". I was told that the issue was that I had auto dimming on my old mirror and that was causing the short. GM-Trucks forum had several people reporting the same issue. One of the forum members took the mirror apart and found the issue was the marker light (positive) wire was crimped to the power fold ground (negative) causing the short. The manufacturer rep on the forum asked if one of the other forum members would verify on another mirror. By this time I had already removed the bottom glass and verified the same wires were crimped on my mirror. In the process I broke the bottom mirror. The mirror manufacturer assured everyone on the forum their mirrors would be covered by the warranty and the issue was that a small batch of mirrors had inadvertently been wired wrong. I contacted 1A auto to try and get the bottom mirror covered under warranty and to correct my account to by showing the issue was a manufacturing problem and the warranty should still be intact. But was told again the issue was mine and the problem was the auto dimming option, and my mirror warranty was still "null and void." I absolutely Love the mirror and will be buying another set for my other truck but will not be buying it from 1a auto. Update: After the review 1A contacted me and verified the issue had indeed been resolved as a manufacturer mistake, refunded my glass and confirmed the warranty was intact. I am updating it to 4 star because I love the mirrors very much.

Plug and Play for a 2017 Sierra Denali 1500
After about 8 months of struggling with the decision to purchase these (potential for loss of all power function based on forum research) or spend over twice as much elsewhere for the OEM package with reprogramming code, special harness, etc, I decided to purchase these directly from the manufacturer. I installed them today and am thrilled with both the quality and functionality of the mirrors. My truck has the A45 memory package, according to my research there were potential issues that may require dealer reprogramming after install do to this feature. Not so. I have not tested the memory feature or heat, but I can confirm that power fold, power adjust, auto adjust on reverse, turn signal and puddle lights are plug and play. I'm still trying to figure out what the spotlight function is. I will try and return for an update when heat and memory have been tested. I am very happy I purchased these over OEM and recommend them to anyone else who is on the fence.
