Amp built into subwoofer enclosure
Need 5 gauge wiring kit. Take time running wires and have a continuity test light handy for finding a good ground and to troubleshoot if amp for some reason don't have power. Has good sound. Good bass. Overall if your not looking for super loud bass that's not gonna make your ears ring. This is a good subwoofer. Have it paired with Orion 6.75" speakers. I'm happy with the subwoofer amp enclosure

Supplied directions?????
Only resaon not a 5 star is the directions supplied were lacking. I had to call the company twice to get it to work. Sounds great , plenty of Bass. Great product they just need to fix their directions a bit.

This was a gift for my son and he loves it. No issues getting it hooked up and working in his Ford Ranger.

Not very good sound for my installation.
First things first: Bass is quite variable depending upon how the speaker/box is positioned and pointed, so that can have a dramatic impact on sound. This sub looks really nice, and lists some great features. That being said, I could not get anything close to the sound I was looking for, so I am going to build a baffle board instead.

Easy install great sound and perfect I bought a d added to my 2011 Escalade and it sounds awesome with the stock bose stereo

Look elsewhere
Speaker blew in less than 2 weeks and sucked. My old setups specs was half of what this was advertised at with a 10" sub and kicked twice as hard. Waste of money.

Easy to use
It won’t win any competitions, but it certainly makes you bass much clearer and will rattle quite a bit at high volumes. I put it under the seat in my work truck, and I have to keep the gain down so people don’t stare. lol. Good purchase for a smallish upgrade to your stock system.

Great for SUV or Pickup
Nice clean compact, but just not enough bass. If you want to feel it, go with custom box and spend more money. It did add a good amount but I want my wife to know I am almost home. It would have done great in a truck or SUV, but not the best for trunk of a convertible Camaro. You have to send quite a bit of power to get the bass into the passenger area.
