This is very lightweight but reasonably sturdy. And it look much better "in person" than I had expected. It is well made, with the unfortunate detail that the nuts kept getting loose, loose, and eventually fell off. A drop of thread lock compound on each, and it's now perfect. Just buy thread lock along with the gate, and you'll be fine.

Arrived in an original packaging inside a much larger box. Looks exactly as pictured. It is quite light but figured it would suit my needs of blocking off a halfway to bedrooms from two 11lb dogs. It was working fine for a night until the next day and one segment fell off. Upon inspection I noticed the hinge structure and nuts on the floor and a missing nut (presumably in the discarded box). I have to "tighten" the nuts several times daily. If you swing a segment with the smallest motion or pick up the gate at all the nuts fall off. There is no way to actually tighten them - they seem just a hair too big. The structure itself is very flimsy. The wire designs bend with no effort. Again, even though I have 3 School aged kids I was not concerned with the design or lightness it's the fact that it falls apart constantly. After less than a week it was placed in 3 pieces up against the wall and is absolutely useless. The nuts are almost all lost and who has time to constantly tighten a gate if it gets the slightest bump. The gate is ridiculously over priced, poorly crafted and of cheap material. It is a beautiful little gate, wish I could have used it for more than a couple days. Sending back for a refund!

The side panels keep disconnecting from the center panel. It isn't very stable and can easily be pushed over. Our cats are able to move it and the puppy just knocks it right over.

Very attractive, just wish it was a bit more sturdy. Kept the puppy away from the Christmas tree and that was the goal😊😊

This gate is gorgeous, but came apart after only 1 month of using it at the bottom of the stairs. The welding is very cheap and just broke.

Although I love the gate and it looks very pretty, the small bolts constantly come loose and fall off. Be aware that you don't vacuum them up because the gate will fall apart without them.

Screws come loose. Washers missing. Super glue them! Otherwise nice gate.

Love it! Bought one of these two years ago to use as a fancy doggy gate instead of those crappy plastic baby gate looking things. Now I've bought two more to flank each side of my ottoman so the dogs can look out the window or sleep and I don't fear they will roll off. Everyone who visits my house says "that's a great idea to use a fireplace gate" which it's not (but it could be). So fancy looking and suites my needs!
