I've machine washed mine several times without staining or etching. The look good. The cups pour about as well as any cup does with wet ingredients, but both the cups and the spoons can stick with dry ingredients. So, tapping the spoon or cup on the side of the pot, pan, or bowl is sometimes necessary. Overall, these are a set of spoons and cups that will last a long time if the rubberized handles hold up making them well worth the purchase.
