Good hat.
Good price, mesh lined, wide-brim hat.I got this hat just before the recent high-heat and it’s earned its keep. The brim is wider than a Tilley hat so ears, neck and face are well-shaded from the sun. It’s extremely practical sun protection. The hat is also supposed be water-repellant at the least but haven’t had any rain to test it - a quick ‘splash test’ seems to back that claim. But time will tell.The sizing guide is good and the fit can be adjusted by means of a shock cord adjuster at the rear of the hat. The hat also has an adjustable cord to keep it on your head in winds.The hat can be folded, one or both sides folded up Aussie-style, allows ventilation, defeats string sunlight and at least some water proofness so I think it’s pretty versatile.I think the hat looks good on me but appearance is secondary to its primary purpose of stooping sunburn so I’m fine with it.

Great Quality
Always very wary of hats, never seem to look right on me? But this one fits well, and doesn't make me "look any more silly" than I already am. It is also perfect at its job with the wide brim, shading over my glasses every thing looks sharp again. There's no bloom "Spectacle wearer's will no what I mean" from the Sun coming down from the top of my Glasses No more squinting. Great Quality Too

I ordered the xtra large and it doesn’t fit me
I like the hat but the head circumference is too tight for me and I don’t think the rim is that broad either . I’ve not found a hat big enough yet ever ! But I’m keeping as will use for someone else as appears well made and ideal for the great outdoors

Wide brim. Good fit using adjustable elastic cord. Comfortable to wear. Folds in half neatly for storage. Nice to have chin cord for windy weather.
