I was hesitant after reading reviews but honestly pleasantly surprised after ordering it.It is NOT that hard to get the top on, I’m assuming people were expecting it to just loosely lay in place or were making themselves frustrated and impatient while trying to align the lid. But it is not as big of an ordeal as other reviews made it out. In fact it honestly doesn’t sit tight enough that you can move the litter box around by the top without the top easily popping off. (So move from the base if full of litter and moving it around)Mine also did not come with any sort of filter. However this isn’t that big of a deal for me as I plan on filling the extra space with more fake plants once I get them and I use other odor neutralizing things in my house (plus all the live plants help too).So far it has been a breeze to clean and maintain for me. I’ll be getting three more eventually to add to other rooms in the house. They blend in really nicely with all of my houseplants!Over all I’m very satisfied with this litter box. I spent far longer than I care to admit trying to find litter boxes or litter box enclosures that would work with my space how I wanted without being a pain in the arse to maintain.

As soon as I received this litter box I put it together (with a little bit of effort) then I left it in my guest room for a few days to let it settle into its proper shape. The top gets a bit warped when it’s broken down and packaged inside the bottom. I suggest if you have a great deal of difficulty putting it together then return it and get a replacement. Although it’s smaller than the litter box it replaced, it’s still big enough for my cats. The more litter you put in it brings the level higher and therefore affords more surface area for the cat to access. Rather than use the “plant” included I just filled the top with glass beads. I also find that I don’t need to remove the top for every day scooping because the opening is quite large. I’m pleased with how neat it looks as well.

Lid fits , made my space more pretty . I didn’t like how when I brought company over, they could see his ugly litter box and genie so I got rid of them and got this instead!! He hasn’t used it yet so I’m waiting

Cats really like the size and plants. They play with the plays and to my dismay chew on the plants but the use it and (I believe) they like that is “nature looking” because of the plants 😂😂

I bought this litter box to be hidden and was so excited for it! I’ve had it for 2 days and returning it! I can’t take that the lid won’t secure together and every time my cat goes to the bathroom the lid falls off

I have wanted one of these for a while now. I love the shape and look of this one. It looks so great, i absolutely love it and would highly recommend this litter box. If your struggling to get the lid to go back on, hook the back two corners first then the front.

I was so disappointed when this litter box arrived. It is so much smaller than the picture makes it out to be. I have 3 cats, and they're all way too big for it. Even my cat who was the runt of the litter would have a tough time fitting in this. This should NOT be marketed toward adult cats. Kittens, at best.Also, as others have mentioned, the top and bottom don't fit together correctly which makes it look sloppy. There's no way an almost $80 litter box should be this small and this poorly made.

The media could not be loaded. Ilike the fact that is very convenient instead of using the litter boxes. Since, they just arrived, I have the opening towards the front, so that they know. I plan to turn the opening to the side where it would be less noticeable. I purchased 2, since I have 4 cats. I ordered another furniture style for my bedroom, where I also have another litter box. I still have a small litter box in the kitchen.As information, as other reviewers have mentioned, the top is not easy to put on. You might get frustrated, but you can still put it on. I did get frustrated, but with some patience, you can accomplish it. One of the planters was easier than the other. To move, you should drag it or lift it from the bottom. The size is perfect as a litter box. I would clean it with just the shovel without removing lid because of the hassle of having to put back on. I would remove the lid only when it's time to wash the whole thing. You can also use a liner to avoid this problem. I purchased them on sale for $60, which at that price range it was perfect.Overall, I'd say it's esthetically much better. Therefore, I would purchase again and recommend.

I purchased this item a couple months ago for my larger cats but when it got here it looked and it seems quite small (at least for my cats). On the other hand though my chihuahua loves to hide and hangout in it with his favourite blanket (no cat litter in it) 😂😂
