Hi, no, this product doesn't have a zipped closure and it doesn't take A5 paper either. Hope this information was useful. But it is a really lovely filofax, a good, handy size to carry around.

is the refills seperate?

Refills come with the organiser, so you will get a diary (mine came with a week per view on 2 pages), spare paper, etc. It is supplied as per the description, check on this.
