Exactly what I was looking for. Deep enough, yet fits well into my freezer. This Rubbermaid bin is the perfect bin that does the job. In the summer time especially, I go through a ton of ice cubes and having that extra storage for the excess cubes is the answer. Rubbermaid is a trusted name and the quality is sturdy and top notch let alone the perfect size for my fridge/freezer. I find it fits better than my original bin.

While looking for an ice cube bin for my freezer, I found a popular brand of food storage containers was selling a freezer-safe container with removable lids. This item was about $8-9 cheaper than the Rubbermaid ice bin so I went with the cheaper item. Mistake! The cheaper containers both cracked within the first couple weeks of use. I came back and bought the Rubbermaid bin and it has been great. Thick, solid plastic that fits nicely along one wall of my freezer compartment. My only complaint would be that it doesn’t have a lid, but it’s great, otherwise.
